Omg! I can't wait until I'm DONE changing diapers!!! That's all I have done for the last 20 years. I'm sick of diapers. I'm sick of buying them, smelling them, and throwing them away.... I buy my daughter Huggies becuz she breaks out so bad with other brands...they are $20 for like 80 diapers, it's rediculous!!What are the price of diapers where you live? What was the price of diapers when you had your kids? I know it's atleast doubled since I started changing diapers! Let's talk about diapers!

ok first of all why on earth have you been doing it for 20 years? oh my that is a long time. i have been doing it for over a year and i am about done with it. my kid likes the potty so i have started her with it. i use luvs. they are 10.87 for 60 maybe a little less. but i like them they are the only ones that did not leak for her. she is cool with them on the sensitive side. i hope that you end soon. good luck

yeah, its rough knowing that all this money is pretty much thrown down the drain, but at the same time we have no choice

Let's see my son is almost 8. I rarely bought anything but store brand unless there was a good sale and I had a coupon. The most I ever remember spending on the cheap ones was $15 for a pack. I honestly can't remember how many there were in that pack though.

my *1* in diapers right now - my daughter, Lily
I can't wait until Im done either, lol, but I am no where near that point, lol. My daughter is 6 months old and #3 will be born in June, so Ive got 2 + more years of diapers, lol. We buy pampers because of the same reason you buy huggies, lol, we spend about $30-$35 on a box of 160 at Sam's club. We buy 1 box and it lasts about a month, so it pays off. About 5 years ago when my son was a baby I was paying $15 for a big box of White Cloud diapers at Walmart, he was sooo tiny that the other diapers leaked around his legs.

well, When I had my first one.. He was abnormally shaped (I know, it's quite the compliment, I'll never tell him though) where His belly was HUGE and much bigger than the rest of his body, so much so that the doctor called in some of his nurses to see my son's milk belly (another thing he'll never know...lol).. but the only diapers that he wouldn't leak out of were pamper's cruisers..which were like the MOST expensive diapers you could buy...*sigh* I think they were about the same as your huggies..maybe a little more.. Well his belly has gotten smaller and the rest of him has caught up.. but he's potty training now (thank GOD!!!) partly because he wanted to and partly because the biggest diapers available don't fit him..*sigh* (: My youngest thankfully was not "blessed" with the big belly (I had it too when I was a baby so my son came by it honest).. and we just use the walmart brand for him.. which is great.. seeing how he still needs to be changed so much. I hate diapers too.. but I want at least one more baby, so I have resigned myself to more years of changing them. *sigh*

I can only use the Pampers brand because my daugther is like yours and breaks out also . It is also expensive here . It costs 39.99 for a big box of pampers and that dosn't last very long . My daugther keeps getting yeast infections and so her bum is always broke out really bad .So I have to be sure to change her the minute she is wet (although I would anyway ). But I have to watch her more closely because you can't always tell my looking at them if they have peed or not . Sometimes I am not sure and change her just to be safe . I think the price for pampers is ridiculous .

Oh my God, I would say they are really expensive where you are!! Where are you? I can't believe they are that much, it's rediculous! I won't complain about the price of mine again, lol. How do you tell if your daughter has a yeast infection? Does it smell? Or just turn her red? My daughter has the stinkiest pee of any kid I've ever smelled before, but she's not red all the time, so I'm not sure if it's just from her drinking too much milk or not (that's what my mom said it was from). I'm used to boys, not girls, I'm lost, lol.

I have 13+ years behind my belt of changing diapers, and let me tell you Stephanie5, I am so sick of changing them too! I have two little girls still in diapers, who I am desperately trying to potty train, with a very small success, and the cost of diapers (I think you might as well just throw the money down the drain, cause thats what we are doing) is outrageous. For 30 diapers it costs 9.50...and thats the Dollar Store brand....the good brand like Huggies or Luvs (Luvs are my favorite), costs about 20-25 for a case which depending on the size you buy is like 55-90 diapers. I cant wait until these two dearies of mine are done...I'll be throwing a party...and let someone ask me to change another diaper after that...FORGET IT! I may be willing to change the grandkids diapers when I get them, but thats such a long way off I hope, that maybe I will miss it? LOL.

I think everyone who has kids are sick of diapers and can't wait until their kids are out of them they are so expensive I spend $20.00 for a box of diapers every week and it sucks they are so darn expensive but it is worth it.I know when i first had my kids a pack of luvs was like $4 dollars that was back in 1996 now they are alot more expensive and they will probably get alot more expensive.

I know what you mean... I worked at a church daycare for a few years and it was alllll about the diapers. Then I went and had 3 kids and more diapers. The last package of diapers I got were Luvs and cost $15.99 for 92 diapers at Target. The only reason I got Luvs at Target was because I had a gift card I had gotten from another site by doing work for them. I prefer diapers from Food Maxx for around $8.80. I can't wait until I don't have to buy diapers anymore! But crazy me wants another baby someday.

I can't wait for my son (21 mths) to be toilet trained . Sick of changing diapers especially when he poos. I change his diapers about 2 to 3 times a day.Huggies and Pampers are the more expensive brands here. I normally buy Drypers or PetPet which cost about S$17 for 72 pieces. So every month I spend about $20 on diapers.

We've been lucky and my girlfriend's dad keeps buying her diapers every time they go out. He'll buy the jumbo Sam's Club boxes and we'll be set for two months. That's about what they cost here too. The price stays the same, but the amount of diapers in the box keeps going down as the size goes up. We use Pampers because we've found that Huggies leak a lot more. If you keep an eye out, you should always be able to get a hold of coupons for 1-3 dollars off. I just got a coupon for Target that is $5 children's clothing with the purchase of a box of Pampers. I planned on using that in combination with a $1.50 off coupon for the diapers.

I don't think changing diapers is so bad, as long as he doesn't leak out. I hate changing entire outfits. He doesn't sit still long enough. We only use Pampers Baby Dry and Huggies Supreme. Our son leaks out of just regular Huggies for some reason and is allergic to something in the Pampers Cruisers. We tried store brands too and Target ones worked well when he was in size 1 and 2, but then he hit a growth spurt and has been tall and skinny since. All the store brands we've tried have been shorter so he leaks out of the top of them every time. We only buy diapers on sale. Somewhere has a sale almost every week. And if the sale is really good, we stock up. Recently the BX had the small pack of Pampers diapers 2/$15. Pair that with coupons for $1.50 or 2.00 off and you get them cheaper than store brands! Normally they run between $9 and $10 each. So needless to say we stocked up. A lot of times our Kmart has good instore coupons too. The box of diapers cost more by like a dollar than the box at Walmart, but sometimes they have coupons for like $5 off a toy when you buy a box of diapers. Or $5 off a box of diapers when you buy two bath products. We always check to see if they have any coupons when we go to Kmart.

I currently have two in diapers. I use both cloth and sposies. I buy the generic Wal-Mart brand for diapers. Depending upon the size as to how many in a bag, but they cost $6.97 here per bag. Pampers and Huggies are both $10 per bag (we're talking small bags here - not the jumbo size) and LUVs are about $8 per bag. When my two teen boys were little, I only used Huggies. They worked the best on them - but they are not like they used to be then. I too will be glad when diapers are all done!.

I this exact thought all the time. I just got twoout of three of my children out of daipers and I a counting downthe days till I can start potty training the youngest and finally be done with it. The worse part for me is that I have been smelling it for so long that sometimes I just don't smell it anymore. My husband has walked in the house and went wow the trash really needs to be taken out and I am like what are you talking about and then I will go and smell the trash can and then it will finally hit me now that is just bad. I have about 1 year before I can think about potty training my last.

I usually try to wait until diapers are on sale & I have a coupon for them. My youngest was born 12/22/06. My mother-in-law bought her like 20 bags of diapers sizes 1-3. So I am lucky to not have to buy diapers for a long time. If she out grows a size I can take & exchange them.

I have been in diaper mode for 3 years now. My son kept getting a staph infection on his bum so I started researching and found that the silica gel in diapers can do that to them. SO I started sewing All in ones cloth diapers. They are exactly like disposibles in how you se them and put them on only instead of a trach can you put them in the laundry. I spent $100 on materials for both boys and have not had to spend another cent. Before I was spending $30 a week between the two!
