Here in the panhandle of Texas, it has been over $2 a gallon for quite awhile now. Anywhere from $2.20-$2.40. Some parts of town are more and some are less. The other day someone told me if you had a Sam's Club membership, you could get gas for $1.97 a gallon! I haven't seen gas less than $2 a gallon for many years.

We currently get gas for $1.92 a gallon. Sam's club is a good deal for gas and you will no doubt find some goodies in the store to add some quality to your life. I get my bread there in 2 packs. The salad mix is like 3 pounds, that is good til I grow my own again. So for gas try http://www.gaspricewatch.com/new/default.asp It is updated by people buying gas and often it will save you some money. It is a free site where you put in your zip code where you are or are going and you can check out gas prices. Good luck with this.

Well, I checked out gaspricewatch and found many stations in our town that were selling gas for $1.99 a gallon! Shut my mouth! How did I miss them! LOL! Thanks for the tip!

here in calgary, it fluctuates betwen 79 and 54 cents per liter. which is the equivalent of an american quart, so, don't complain too much. Like Texas, we have oil coming out of the ground within a few miles of my house, and a huge oil storage place within about 8 blocks, but we still pay more for gas than Toronto and Montreal. Why? because they say we are too far away from the refineries, none of which are right here in Calgary because the federal government made a deal with Ontario years ago. You figure it out. We can't.

I live in northewrn Wisconsin and our gas prices just recently went down to $2.09 per gallon for unleaded. Late last week it dropped $0.10!!! I hope it keep soing down. But even just over $2 per gallon is a big drop from this summer when it was over $3 per gallon.

How did he do that??? If our gas stations change more than once per 24 hour period the gas station gets huge fine!

I don't know how it works, but it has happened to him more than once. The front office will call to tell him to change the prices and then sometimes later in the day he'll have to go back up to the store and change them again. This is a home-owned chain of about 60 stores.

My husband works as a manager of a small convenience store. He had to change the gas today from $1.99 up to $2.09 and then back down again to $1.99 a few hours later. That's just nuts!

Gas prices are a popular discussion both here and in the real world. At the rate they keep changing, we could have a brand new discussion on it every two or three days. Right now the cheapest gas around is at a convenience store calles "Casey's General Store". We were able to get gas for $1.86 per gallon--and we were very happy about it!

It ranges from 2.41 - 2.59 a gallon. The Smiths grocery store give a per gallon discount from 5 - 15 cents depending on how much you spend on groceries. And the Rebel stations have a club you can join, after spending a certain amount for gas, you get a rebate. Seems to me this just proves the gas is overpriced to start with.

Sunday I was by Walmart and they had gas for $1.93 (Sams is usually priced a little higher than the Walmart gas here). Even the expensive Shell gas is down to $2.05.

it used to be about $1/liter. but fuel prices have steadily gone down over the past couple weeks to .80/liter.

The gas prices here are about the same with the lowest that I have seen recently being $2.15. It had gone up a bit to the $2.30 range but is going down a little. I would be happy if it went under the $2 mark. It will probably continue to be a roller coaster ride with gas prices til we can start using our own fuel and not relying on foreign oil and fuel.

In Australia petrol is about $1.20 a litre. (That's about $5/gallon) so you are quite lucky. It costs me about $50 to fill my 4 cylinder car. Ridiculous....

Remember our dollar is about 70c US at the moment so it wouldn't be as much converted over. But yes it is getting ridiculous.

in the southeastern Pennsylvania, you can get gas for about 2.17 to 2.25 but one chain of gas stations called Wawa if you pay cash it is 5 cents cheaper then the losted grade, so if it running 2.20 per gallon and you pay cash you can get it for 2.15 per gallon. And to make things even better the atm machines are service fee so if you do not have cash on you you can hit their atm machine and then pay cash. Sweet.

We just had an increase in gas yesterday and now we are at $0.94 a litre I tell you I will certainly be thinking long and hard about the next vehicle we get, if we choose to get one.

It is hovering around $2.05 - $2.08 where I live. That is at super WalMart and a grocery store that sits next door and competes with WalMart! If you have a WalMart charge card, you can get 2 cents off per gallon. I still go to the grocery store sometimes though, just so they don't get put out of business!

Just check out that website myself and found prices ranged from $2.12 - $2.17 for regular within 5 miles of my zipcode (near Fort Lauderdale, FL). That's the lowest I've seen it in a long time. Our Sam's Club doesn't sell gas, but Costco does. However, it's too far away to make it reasonable for us to get our gas there.

Well, that is a little bit too high if you ask me. I don't think it is that bad here in Kentucky. The highest I have seen is $1.99. We have a Kroger card and we get a discount on it. So, I think we don't pay more than $2.00 for gas.
