LCD monitor is better then CRT because your eys remains comfortable with LCD Monitors.

generally, LCD monitors are better than CRT monitors. my favourite LCDmonitor is EIZO S1911 SH with sound and height adjustable stand.It has 8 ms reposnse time and 2ms midtone response(grey-to-grey), support for both Analog D-Sub and Digital DVI

i choose Cathode Ray Tube or CRT monitors just for resolution and clarity but i guess LCDs can compete now with..
