I tend to do most of my reading in bed before bed. It seems to relax me and help me sleep better. I tend to read encouraging books before bed which will allow me to have a restful sleep. What about all of you!

Oh, I do my readings in the office during office hours. Don't get me wrong. My job is to read books and edit their grammars and all. When I do read some interesting books not related to my job, I read it during my free time at home, when the baby is asleep and I am in the mood to read.

Probably at home in bed, or at my boyfriend's place - whenever I get the time! :)

reading in bed just makes me not want to go to sleep (unless the book is boring, of course!). i tend to read too many pages and keep telling myself 'one more, just one more'. so no, i do not like reading in bed ;) i usually read while commuting, since most places i go are at least 15 minutes away by bus or subway. when i visit my parents, the bus and subway takes about 1 1/2 hours in all, so this is my favorite place/time to read a good book or manga (japanese comic book). i don't usually read in a spot that is overly comfortable, because this tends to make me drowsy, and then i can only think of sleeping, rather than reading ;) so i prefer to choose a well-lit place, on a less-comfortable chair, so a bus setting is perfect :)

I do most of my reading at night too before going to sleep. I'll also read if there's nothing on TV in the evening or during the day on the weekends.

I do the majoity of my reading while I am on the toilet. I have a rack in my bathroom with various magazines and novels for me to read. I know it may sound crazy but that is when I can really get some quiet time to read. My family still interupts me, but it happens less often than if I were trying to read in my room. I even went out and got a cushioned toilet seat because it is not unheard of for me to spend an hour in there reading. I read every day, multiple times a day. I also read in the tub and if I get really ooked on a book that I just can't put down I will read anywhere until Ihave finished the book.

lol. I think can all agree with that one. Some of the best privacy is while you are in the bathroom. Thanks for the reply.

I've gotten to the point where I can't go to sleep unless I read for at least a few minutes before turning the light out. I usually have a little stack of four or five books on the table beside the bed.

I also read right before bed. It is actually not always a good thing, as it seems to have become a sleep-aid. If I read during the day, I almost always fall asleep!! And, if I do not have a book to read, I can't sleep.

I also do most of my reading in bed, before I go to sleep. It's relaxing, but it's also about the only time I can read, without being disturbed by the kids. :)

1.) At least once/week I go to Barnes & Noble, gather 5-10 books and settle in for a couple hours worth of quality reading. If I find something that I really like I'll write it down and come home and check out Amazon.com or BookFinder.com 2.) Before bed I always have a book that I'm reading and make sure to read at least 2 pages every night (often much more just depending on how tired I am). I find that this keeps my momentum moving forward for I often find that I keep buying books that I wish to read and a backlog develops.

I like to read a book in the afternoon and before bedtime. I love to read self-help topics. Specially plastic canvas projects, about fitness, audiobooks, etc. I like to read in the dining room or in my bed.

I too do most of my reading before I sleep at night. Many of these books are non fiction, mind and body health type books, or biographies or sometimes humorous books.
