savingstargirl I am just finishing "Front Row" - the unauthorised biography of US Vogue editor in chief, Anna Wintour. It's really good, I really enjoyed it :) I have about 2 pages left, and it's quite interesting, reading about the behind the scenes at Vogue magazine (which...

CraftyCorner @CraftyCorner (5600) • United States 5 Feb 07

You've found out a neighbor or an aqaintance is filesharing and making digital copies of software, music and video. Would you turn him/her in?

12 responses •

savingstargirl Not at all. If they were selling the copies then that wouldn't be so good, but I still wouldn't turn them in, I don't think; and I agree with other commenters here that not all filesharing is bad. I have discovered so many great new artists by listening to...

savingstargirl For sure - some of my friends are quite happy to be single as their lives are filled with many things, and they don't have the time or energy for a relationship. As long as they are happy, that's the important thing, and I say, good on them! :)

Do you like being compared to other people?

hopeful28 @hopeful28 (1439) • Singapore 7 Feb 07

savingstargirl I used to get compared a lot to other kids that my mother knew when I was younger, and I grew up with quite a complex - even now, at 26, I still wince when she mentions someone that she used to compare me to a lot in previous years. It has made me really aware...

Do you finish reading every book you start?

cajundharma @cajundharma (641) • United States 7 Feb 07

I'm always been insistent on finishing every book that I start, even if I don't enjoy the book. So here I am 60 pages into a vampire novel with prose so purple that I think Barney might have ghost written it. Do I put it down and...

savingstargirl If I don't like a book, then I stop reading it -- there are sooo many books out there, I'd rather really enjoy ones that I like, than try to endure a book that I'm not really enjoying so much. with that said, there are so many books that I have started, and...

savingstargirl I only use IE at work and at my boyfriends; we have IE 6 at work still, but 7 on my boyfriend's computer. It's okay, but I much prefer Firefox. The tabbing is great though (one of the reasons I switched over to Firefox years ago - about time IE caught up!)
