One thing that I cannot stand is to have someone tickle me. My husband loves to annoy me by tickling me. It makes me angry. He thinks it is funny.

I am sure the person that tickled you learned his or her lesson and will not do that again. LOL

My husband learned the hard way that he cannot tickle me. When we were first married, he would tickle me and he could not or would not understand that I didn't like it (he is NOT ticklish). However, one night he was tickling me in bed and would not stop. I hit at him and in the dark he did not see my hand coming and I ended up scratching the surface of his eye (very painful). He stopped tickling me. We took him to the doctor and they gave him some ointment and patched his eye. He NEVER tickled me after that - even thoug we have been married for 27 years now. I guess he learned his lesson.

OUch! ONe night when hubby and I hit the hay, he began tickling me. Somehow I got my feet positioned just right and sent him flying out of the bed. He landed on his backside and sat on the floor in disbelief.

It does not bother me to be tickled as it is difficult to tickle me. LOL Sometimes it feels pretty good actually but I have heard that women do not like being tickled at all. Is it true that women do not like to be tickled?

Being tickled is something that I have a hard time standing at first. But if someone keeps tickling me for awhile, I find that my body gets acclimated to it and I can bear it a lot easier. But man, it is ever hard not to squirm at first, lol! I really am pretty ticklish! But, it's been so long now since someone has thought to tickle me that I have no idea how strongly I would react. Probably worse than ever, lol! *laugh* Hmm. Where to find someone to test out this theory.. lol ^_~

I hate being tickled. There have been times when I completely lose my breath and panic sets in. If the person doesn't stop I can get defensive.

I can't stand being tickled . My husband thinks it is funny but he watches himself because he knows this is a sure way to make me mad . My children love when they get tickled and are always trying to go around tickling people just so you will do it back to me . I find even though I can't stop laughing , I in no way find it funny and I also find it makes it hard to breathe .

My husband will get my grandson to join in on the tickling and I worry that I will panic and hurt someone.

I can't stand it. If my husband wants to truly make me angry, that will do it. I think it i the feeling of vulnerability that I don't like. I am the type of person that always needs to be in control and being tickled means that you have to loosen up a little.

I think you nailed it Sunrise. That lack of control over the situation is frustrating. I hate it.

I hate being tickled, it makes me absolutely furious when someone thinks it's fun and I am saying no, I don't like it. When I was 4 years old I had a babysitter that tickled me until I wet my pants. I pleaded screamed and cried for her to stop. She wouldn't, and then had the nerve to send me to bed for wetting my pants. As stupid as it may sound..I can't let go of it and still at 46 yrs. old, I get get so mad at the mention of tickling. My mind goes immediately to that day. I can tell you every little detail, right down to my underwear with little pink rosebuds on them..lol I probably need therapy for post traumatic stress syndrome. Funny isn't it how something so small can affect you for so long.

When I was little my uncle tickled me so hard that I lost my breath. Know what you mean about being traumatized.

It bugs me but doesn't make me angry. My husband doesn't tickle me alot but when he does, he doesn't know when it has been enough.

I cannot stand to be tickled either! My worst spot in on my inner thighs!!! My husband knows this and will go directly for this spot. It drives me nuts. I have tried thinking of other things to ignore it - but it just doesn't work.

I absolutely hate being tickled! My uncle used to tickle us until we peed ourselves and thought it was funny! Your right it does make you angry, as you have no control! Another thing is having my toes pulled! AH! I have so much pain in my feet and my toes most of the time feel like they have been crushed, so anyone who thinks it's funny to do that I have warned ahead time that they will suffer the circumstance, as I will hurt them.

I do not like to be tickled!!! Period! I have threatened my partner bodily harm if he continued to tickle me! I don't know what it is. Maybe it is a loss of control. Because I love laughing! But I do not like to be tickled.
