I usually go to bed at around the same time every night and wake up around the same time each morning. I usually sleep 8 hours each night, but sometimes I sleep up to 9 hours, depending on how tired I am. I think the most I slept at one time was 10 hours, but that is when I am not feeling well. I think it is important to get enough sleep. If I do not get enough sleep, I am more likely to catch colds and get sick.

Of course, sleeping (especially resting) is very good for humans. When you are asleep, your body gets the chance to relax and repairs itself from the troubles of the day. My normal restful sleep is between 6 to 8 hours. Your body most take a break; else, your entire system will collapse.
I am just curious: Are you by any chance a robot?

Sleeping or taking sufficient rest everyday is a part of a healthy lifestyle. We should have at least 5hours of sleep a day. The recommended time is to sleep 8-12 hours a day and I follow that. If you have insufficient rest, you will have fatigue, weakness, and stress. And when you oversleep, I mean is if you sleep 13 hours up a day, it has bad effects to your brain. That's what I know.

I m agree with you in the part wher u told atleast we should sleep for 5 hrs a day and i usually sleep for 6 hours. But when u said 8-12 hours sleep a day in a regular basis I guess i am not in agreement with you. Can u guess that if you sleep for 8-12 hours in a day u r wasting 1/3 to 1/2 of ur life in sleeping. Hmmmm

i consume about ten to eight hours of my time sleeping, but when i get real lazy on my bed, i even stratch my sleeping hours upto twelve. (i'm lazy. :)) I follow my scheds when i need to wake up or sleep, but when i have nothing on my schedule, i don't follow any curfew on sleeping or waking up, because i'm just a home buddy right now. well, i have slept for almost 24 hours, because i was making a project way back in college and didn't had the chance to sleep for two days, that's why i spend an entire day just to make for what i've lost. :)

We should sleep normal. Like 8 hours are normal. Till that its good but if you sleep more or less they both are bad for your health.
