Do you honestly think that Harry Potter has anything to do with School Violence today? what about the school shooting that are going on right now? I heard someone try to blame that on Harry Potter. Give me a break.. There aren't any guns in Harry Potter.. so where do they come up with this stuff? what do you think? Is there something that I am missing?

Harry Potter doesn't support violence in anyway. It's more about love and friendship being the greatest of all power. I can't see why people are trying to blame the novels. I think they're looking for a scapegoat again.

Thank you for your comment. I agree so much with you. People want to blame violence on anything that they can get their hands on.. and Harry Potter is far from it. I just dont understand where these people come up with these things.

Seems like I've read another book. The Harry Potter series I've read does not promote violence in any way. I can understand why people blame ego-shooters or perhaps even films like The Matrix, because there the heroes actually kill their adversaries - but in Harry Potter the good side never harms anybody if it can be helped. Harry does even save Wormtail once, though he could have avenged his parents deaths.
