Have your discussions caused an arguement, but you had no intentions to?

Hi. I know we all have our own opinions of things but have any of you experienced where you discussion got really heated up and just about turned into a royal arguement? You really didnt mean to step on toes, was just asking for opinions and then all of a sudden someones feelings has been hurt and they tell you exactly what they think about the whole thing? I dont think any of us here want to argue. We just post discussions and want and respect any response we get as that is what we are all here and supposed to do at mylot. If I have ever offended anyone, Im truly sorry because it was not my intentions to do so at all. We are all here for pretty much the same reasons. We are just having fun, just like you. If any of you have any good stories feel free to tell us about them. I have only been here for 4 days now and Im sure alot of you have some good ones to tell us all.

yes one of my discussion has caused argument and it was removed by mylot within 2 hours of its posting as i got nearly 35 responses in just two hours you can imagine the controversy.....it was just that i told howmuch i earned in two days and how i acheived it....thats a lot of people thanked but few reported it as abusive which was not at all i was happy and just shared my experience...what ever if people felt its abusive then i have to accept it also may be they be right, as we should notpost how much and how we earned on mylot.

Oh my. I didnt know that we couldnt tell what we make here on mylot. I will have to watch what I say or respond to from now on. I am still new at this and learning what can be said and not said here.

Actually, on net browsing I found one rare picture of sportswoman Sania Mirza. I copied the same with remarks and placed it as discussion. The rare photo is updated to my profile. The discussion can be seen by this link,
(http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/539662.aspx ) But, one of Sania fan had seen the discussion and started argument. Immediately I withdrew the photo with comment. That was my unintentional argument raised and subsides over my discussion.

I am sure by now there have been people here who have said something either in one of your discussions or back in one of theirs as a response that you have not always agreed with and wanted to say something but didn't. I actually have had this happen a lot from time to time, and usually these are people that tend to cause problems for a lot of people as well. But overall when it is something, especially someone else's discussion I find myself not agreeing with I tend to just keep quite and move onto something else instead.

Yes, it did happen to me a couple of times and i started becoming more cautious about what i was posting. And my star ranking also went down. And i started posting some cool and not so important ones like 'do you stay awake late in the night' 'which is the worst movie' and i dont have to fase any harsh words from anyone for this nonsense. And i have decided i would be posting the same kind of topics. I neednt think much and i would get good number of responses, besides no harsh words and no fear of rank going down.I dont think there are enough people who can receive good discussions in good spirit. Yeah we dont start a discussion for the sake of argument, we have enough arguments with people all around us.

Not yet, I haven't. I try to stay away from those discussions. I'm more interested in using my time wisely here on mylot and making some money. I don't see the point in getting in a heated argument which would affect my earnings.

Not that I am aware of, have I caused any arguments. I like to be pleasant, even if I don't agree. But, I have so many posts, over 10,000 that perhaps I may have not be aware of it. I hope not.
