Yes, I can type rapidly and accurately without looking at the keyboard. Even when typing numbers! I didn't have any computer training until I was in college, but I took 4 years of office courses and typing during high school (before I changed tracks and decided to go into Nursing). I did really well at typing and it just stuck with me- kind of like how you never forget how to ride a bicycle! The typewriter keyboard and the computer keyboard are almost identical, so it was easy to regain my speed on the computer.

Yes, I can. In fact I barely look at the keyboard while writing, it's a little bit annoying and time-consuming.

I've been typing since I was 18 or 19...with two hands. Now I don't look anymore and I even know when I've typed something by mistake...

Don't need to look at the keyboard anymore, nopes. It helps loads when computing in a dark room lol. Ocasionally I'll look down at the keyboard, if I'm not on my own keyboard, I tend to know my own by feel..so I don't need to as much..

Oh, I definitely type without looking at the keyboard. I have to look at the screen and can't stand it when I CAN'T look at the screen. Sometimes, I'm eating, so I'm typing with one hand and it's then and only then I look at the keyboard. I HATE it!

I have seen my dad typing without seeing the keyboard but i have tried many a times but in vain. I think my friend can do that and it is one of the advantages of chatting a lot with ur friends online!

oh no no no i'm not a typist i even use 2 to 3 fingers in typing i can't type in the dark because i won't be seeing the keyboard that way even if i look at it when i type a lot of times i made so many mistakes

Yes i can type without looking at the keyboard, it comes really easily to me but we did start using somputers in school when i was about 5 and we have always had a family computer at home as far back as i can remember as my father has always needed it for his work.

Put masking tape on each of the keys and proceed to type by looking at what you see on the screen. A screaming good time isnt it?

I personally think that every one tends to look at the keyboard without noticing. I think that if someone is in total darkness, he won't be able to write. As for myself, I've been using computers for mor than a decade and I always look at ther keyboard when I am writing (I rarely look at the screen while writing).
