Should the Fashion World ban "Size Zero" models to protect kids?

Recently in the UK there has been a big debate about very slim "Size Zero" models beng used in catwalk fashions shows. The fashion world in Spain and Italy have already banned these tiny models as they say they are a bad influence on young teenage girls who may get eating disorders trying to copy them. However, London and New York have refused to ban these ultra thin models, even though they know the girls are often anorexic or addicted to some drugs to make them so thin. So do you think young girls really do starve themselves and get eating disorders to try and copy their favourite model or actress? And should they be banned?

Yes i think they should all be banned as none of them are very healthy and being so thin can lead to other problems in later life. Its really sad that young girls think they have to do this,

They should be banned for everyone's sanity :-) It's not promoting anything good really...

I am a cuddly granny and no I am not jealous , I would like to be thinner but I would hate not to have any curves , I worry about my granddaughters 12 and 17 that they would go anorexic but I am glad to say they are very sensible girls , I think young people try to copy the STARS too much xx

What IS a size zero anyway? I bought a blouse that is supposedly size '0' and it fits me even though I'm a size 8-10 (Australian), which is a US size 4-6, and I am no way malnourished, and have ahealth amount of fat. No wonder women are confused about their true size. I think that health, rather than sizes, should be promoted.
