Like my grand mother would say : everything can be frozen! She even freezes orange juice... So I think that there must be no problem to freeze already cooked or precooked patatoes. My mom used to freeze them not cooked, but already cut, they were falling into pieces afterwards... Regarding these experiences, I would answer yes if cooked.

I agree because French fries you buy in the grocery stores are already cooked. and frozen I think that would be the best way cook them first and then freeze them

hey i hope this helps i got it out of a freezer cookbook..peel,slice,blanch potates for 1-2 minutes depending on size, drain cool deep fry for 2 minutes or lightly golden, then drain cool completely and put in airtight container makes good fries...try it..if you are not certain of it then try a few potatoes. then leave in freezer over night to get good and frozen then try it

yes you can freeze french fries, but you need to make sure there is not water or oil on them. And you can only thaw them once.

The grocery store freezer compartment shows that it can be done, but I don't know how feasible it would be at home.

Yes you can but you have to make sure there is no moisture or oil on them before freezing them. Once you freeze them you can only thaw them out once.

Yes, um...have you never been to the frozen food section in your local grocery store? If you mean homemade ones you have cut from potatoes, yes, but they may turn color unless you spritz them with lemon first.
