CDS and DVDS

Based on your own experience with this, how long do they keep for? I think cds and dvds are a good media for saving things but only last 2 years or so... any way to keep them longer?

I think how you use them determines how long they will serve you. =) Keep them in their cases when they are not in use. =) CDs and DVDs are great storage media. Then comes Bluray discs..
