The woman that saved her husbands life during a mountain lion attack

Did you hear this story ? It is simply amazing. A hiker in Northern California was brutally attacked by a mountain lion and his 65 year old wife fought off the mountain lion with a log and a ball point pen. In doing so she most certainly saved his life ! She claims she is not a hero by any means just fighting for her husband, and fighting together. Their 50th anniversary is in a couple weeks, I'm sure the celebration will be even more special. You can read about it here....www.abcnews.com/gma

It is amazing what feats of strength and courage we have when we are faced with such a fearful situation. Preparedness is also important when hiking in a wooded area. Wild animals call these areas their home. Humans are the intruders.

It's a true Love story that's for sure. No wonder they have been married for 50+ years. It's amazing that they were both killed. It's nice to have a happy ending.

OMGosh, just thinking about encountering any kind of lion gives me the willies, my goodness, she is brave, because I know I would panic and probably end up gettin both my husband and myself eaten by that lion...SS

Oh my gosh, I hadn't heard about the mountain lion attacking anyone. Sure happy to know that this story has a good ending. The couple has a very good story to tell their grandkids on how they survived the mountain lion attack now. Wowsers!
