Does anyone get the PCS emails?

I get 3-4 publisher's clearing house emails a day, I click on them which opens a new page and then advertisements. I wonder are they making money off of this and just getting your hopes up. Does anyone else get these? Do you ever open them? What is your opinion of it?

I used to, but do not anymore, I wonder why. I imagine they make enough money to keep on doing this, and it is less expensive to do it on the internet rather than paper and ink. I still get those. I am more likely to respond when I can go online.
