My favourites are Jonathan Ross, his banter with guests on 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross' always makes me laugh and Des O'Connor, hes just made his debut as host of Channel 4's long-running quiz show Countdown, taking over from Des Lynam.

I can't stand talk show hosts, to be honest and I steer clear of any talk show programmes. Not my kind of thing to be honest. But we can't all like the same things. I always switch off after Deal or No Deal when that talk show host the one with the Liverpudlian accent comes on, he is very irritating.

My favorite talk show hosts, I would have to say, si Maury Povich. He seems to have alot of topics and subjects on his show that I like plus he goes back and updates most of the people he has on his show and updates their stories and lives as they are now or later.

It's got to be Parkinson for me .. I think he gets the best out of his guests .. and Davina McCall didn't do too bad when she had her own show .. I am soooooo pleased that mumbling Lynam has left Countdown .. he was terrible .. I might start watching it again now .. that Desi is the host ..

Oh, I adore your mention of Jonathan Ross!! ^_^ You know that I live in USA but am a great fan of British television, so most of the talk shows that I have been watching lately are from your country. *laugh* I watch Ross all the time, and listen to his radio show, as well. I also absolutely *love* Paul O'Grady. I'm sad that he'll be off air for awhile again. I always get so excited when his show comes back on!! ^_^ I really haven't seen much of Des O'Connor, though. I tried watching a few other chat shows and didn't get really into them, except for one that Russel Brand had on awhile back. I think that he's hilarious. He is really taking over for me in my top spot, meaning I'm liking him almost more than Jonathan Ross now...

Its just got to be Des O'Connor! especially when he asks his questions then gets the giggles when they give a funny answer! I never did like his singing much but could watch him all day and night on a chat show. Hes now doing a very good job on that countdown show in the afternoons. long live good old Des!
