lightsaber vs minigun?

This is a totally fantasy question.BUT...Is a lightsaber in the hands of a jedi really a match for a trained soldier with a mini gun that can fire hundreds of rounds a second? The jedi can antecipate the targets, but the handy shooter can´t push the trigger 100 hundreds of rounds in a second.
