How many other Yoopers are here?

Let's get a few other things that are great about being a Yooper. 1) We have a movie about us. It is called: Escanaba in da Moonlight. Has anyone else seen it? 2) We have a performing group called: Da Yoopers. 3) We know why it's called: Copper Country. 4) We also know why it's nicknamed: God's Country.

I live in lower Michigan and do envy you way up there. That is, except in the winter..lol. You have the best pastys in the world, too. I have been all over the UP and can't wait to make another trip up there. It is the land that time forgot.

Winter is not so bad. I like it. I believe that you hit the nail right on the head with your observation that it is " The Land That Time Forgot." I can hardly wait to get back up to Yoopercountry, for one of those great pastys. Thank you for your comments.

Not me, but I know a few. I have a friend, and his sister, that claim the upper peninsula for home, no matter where they go.
