Do you always tell your real name on chat?

Reveal your identity on chat - Do you ever reveal your identity on chat.
will this be safe?

Most of the time we really dont know who is on the otherside when we come to internet chatting.would you tell your name and true identity the very first time you chat with a person?does it not maximise our risk?Would you dare give your mobile number if the stranger on chat asks?

I might give my number or I might not. Depends on my mood. But I have definitely gotten used to the idea that most people do not match their pics on here.
