what do you puut in your childrens lunches want to cut your shopping bill in half? this year i have organised a little better now with 4 kids in primary school. I have brought little containers and put carrot sticks and sultana's. They have small savoy biccies and cheese and cabana. I have a heep of sandwiches made with cold meat and put into the freezer. fried rice cooked put into small containers and frozen. I take out the frozen stuff the night before and wacko the kids love it and it knocks my shopping bill down heeps. what do you think? what do you put in your childrens lunches?

fried rice is a good one, so long as they like it cold....I'll have to give that one a go. My kids love fruit so I always make sure that there is plenty of it and there is never a problem filling up their lunch box.

My kid only gets snacks right now because she only goes for 3 hours in kindergarten. But when she has to have lunch, I will pack her the usual healthy rice and entree type of food for lunch. Thanks for sharing what you give your kids. I need new ideas once in a while.
