Laptop is better for its size because we can carry it anywhere. But when gameing or entertainment is in question then pc is preffered. Both laptop and pc is needed.

The only advantage of a laptop is it's portability. At this point of time in terms performance a desktop is far better than laptop.

I believe Laptop is better when you have a little work to do. But if you have lot of work to then Desktop is always a better option than the laptop. Because Desktop is lot more powerful than the laptop. Best Wishes ;-)

I would take a laptop any day, because you can take it anywhere with you. It's so nice to be able to sit in the chair or couch, while watching TV and messing around on the computer. You can't do that with a desktop.

A laptop computer or simply laptop - (also notebook computer or notebook) is a small mobile computer, which usually weighs 2.2-12 pounds (1-6 kilograms), depending on size, materials and other factors. While the terms laptop and notebook are often used interchangeably, "laptop" is the older term, introduced in 1983 with the Gavilan SC. "Notebook computer" is a later coinage, which was used to differentiate smaller devices such as those of the NEC UltraLite and Compaq LTE series in 1989, which were, in contrast to previous laptops, the approximate size of an A4 paper sheet.[1] The terms are imprecise: due to heat and other issues, many laptops are inappropriate for use on one's lap, and most notebooks are not the size of typical A4 paper notebook. Although some older portable computers, such as the Macintosh Portable and certain Zenith TurbosPort models, were sometimes described as "laptops", their size and weight were too great for this category.

I would vote for DESKTOP PC. I love playing games and hogging my system resources by runnin heavy softwares. So it is only a desktop pc which can fulfil my needs in small budget. Besides, you can't run laptop for longer hours as desktop.

Dear Sungat, It depends. PC is good if you want to have it at home. As for me PC is easier to use, easy for a modification (if you want to add more memory, or else), have cheaper price for the hardware, and etc. However, PC has a big dimension and wasting too much space in a room. For laptop, you will have a good model, nice model, small space required, and very mobile. However, for modification you need more money than PC. And also, Laptop is very fast developed and yours will be easily out of date. However, it depends. If you are a mobile person then you should take Laptop as your interest.

laptop is better because you can bring it anywhere with you especially when you really need to use a computer for typing, checking emails or other urgent personal and business matters.

its based on what you need it for. if youre always on the go then youre better off with a laptop but if youre a gamer then you should get a pc due to its upgradability.

I don't like very much using laptop because they are slower than a desktop pc. They are expensive too. I prefer my desktop pc, because I can upgrade every components in it, when I want!

desktops is good for performance, laptop is good for mobility. Each of them have advantages and disadvantages. Depends what you are looking for: for sitting home I recomand you a desktop(i preffer INTEL processors and motherboards fpr beter compatibility not AMD CPU). When you're away from home, in your car i suggest a laptop (ACER Laptops are good and cheap, Lenovo are good too). And try to use a desktop PC in a fastfood
