Music that rocks that is not very well known yet

I am curious as to how many people out there love a band, song etc.. that maybe isn't very mainstream or well known yet? I just recently got into listnening to Gogol Bordello, specifically the song "Start Wearing Purple". It's so catchy and different.

Emilie Autumn is one of my favourite artists, but she isn't very well known; I've been a fan of hers since 2004, and she is slowly becoming more well known, which is wonderful to see :)

I looked her up, she has a really cool website. Didn't get to listen to any of her stuff yet but will check it out.
