I think botox helps some people but many people tend to go to extremes with it and it really hurts their appearance.

Yes it can improve your appearance. It paralyzes tha muscles in your face so that you can't make the expressions that cause lines to form, so it will make lines go away. However, it CAN be fatal and it can also really mess up your face if it is adminstered incorrectly. You can end up with a droopy eyelid or looking like you've had a stroke (i.e. can't move a whole side of your face). It also lasts for about 4 months, so you have to keep going back for injections. I heard that there are other things you can get done that is not a neurotoxin injection--there is Restylane, Perlane, laser treatments, and Botulin (which is related to botox but isn't botox). I am looking into all of these things and will let you know what I find out.

Theres no doubt in my mind that it does make a person look younger. But, there are risks, too. It's made from botulism and there have been a number of fatal reactions, since not all doctors use proper grade botulism toxin for the injections. Some go cheap. In that case, it can have serious side effects. Best just to stay with external creams, I say. And wear sunscreen. That prevents most wrinkles. Hope that helps!

i don't think so, at first it might improve your appearance. but i think the side effect of this is more than the good thing you can do to you. and i'm afraid worst might come when you get older, as your immune system will drop and you'll be prone to diseases. and i've read that it's a harmful toxin. i do not allow toxin to enter my body. i say no to botox. i'll just get old gracefully, i let everything happen the natural way. after all we all get old and gray. beauty fades, no matter how we restore it, it's the fact of life...

Well, I have seen people that really looked good with it and it lasts for a short time. So, I suppose that is just great for them. I wouldn't do it for me.
