Do check expiration date of medicine/food stuff while purchasing it?

Ofcourse I do it, a medical professional would say to discard the remainder of the medication because it is past its expiration date. However, if you were doing your own research for your own *hypothetical* situation then you would first want to examine where you have obtained this "expiration" date. Was it on a stock bottle or a repackaged bottle?

I do check on it. It's very important especially for food. There are some products though that doesn't have expiration dates on them, so I rely on manufacturing dates. Again, some doesn't have either of the dates, so I don't go on purchasing them to avoid the risks.
