What if you were to choose between these two things..? What will you choose? (A) A very high-paying job abroad. The standard benefits and some pluses. Also, you won't be able to return home for the next 10 years. (B) A very low-paying job. Limited benefits. You get to choose where you want to work as long as it is local. Which one will you choose?

Ahaha. Well, most Filipinos can't stand being away from their families for a long time. It really is sad to be apart from our loved ones. "so with a heavy heart i would choose B.LOL" - LOL =)

maybe my answer would speak for those who would sacrifice to be away just to give the family more than necessary than to work in local and couldn't give some of the basic necessities. I'm working abroad to help my family to save for my future use and it's really hard because some people misunderstood the meaning of working away.Reality bites, i mean working especially in our country (philippines) is ok but the salary don't even compensate to our daily needs.

I see. I really understand your sentiments because I am a Filipino myself. Life here in our country is so-so at the moment. Most Filipinos sacrifice being with their families. That really is sad but we most of the time, there's no choice. =(

I'll choose letter A of course but i don't think i'll be able to handle staying abroad and not seeing my family in 10 years. Can u just change that and make it to 2 years? ... LOL

Ahaha. It would be easy to choose A if it was only two years. LOL

I would look at what my purposes where in life because, when I have coached others, I found that the purpose really wasn't to make a lot of money. So, with that in mind, I suggest that you look at your long term targets of things that you really want to accomplish. Once you have that decided, then decide which would get you where you want to go in life faster and easier.

I think I would choose B, to be local. I wouldn't want to be away from family for a long period of time. Also, all work and no play isn't very fun. I would want to be able to choose a local place for easier travel.

I would too. I'll never be happy no matter how huge my salary is if I don't get to be with my family. I'm a family-oriented type of guy. =D
