The simple things in life.

Yes i too like the simple things in life. My motto in life if you read my profile is simple living, high thinking. And i try to follow it as i believe in it. I lead a simple lifestyle. I love the nature and i enjoy watching sunrise & sunset, walking in the park is fun too. Then watching flowers bloom in own garden & fresh vegetables is also great high. then playing with kids is fun too. then wearing simple decent usual cssual stuff nothing fancy, get simple haircut too, eat simple home cooked food is nice. And beside listening to music on my radio is also lovely. So i am simple man with simple tastes in life.

I agree. I think the simple things in life are best. I love to catch a glimpse of a rainbow after a rain or just snuggle with my kitty cats. Early in the mornings I like to take a walk out to my flower garden as well and sometimes I will pick one and bring it inside and put in a glass of water. I like to do this for decoration.

This is really a great thought of yours !! even i also realized it at some point of time. Everyday getting through this materialistic life and monotonous daily schedule makes you sick !! you want to get out somewhere away from the crowd... thats why i with my friends go out for hiking... in the wilderness stay down for few days then come back in the mess again !! Refreshed... rejuvenated... and excited ever before !! This is nothing but making the life simple and slow for some time !! away from this complex world !!

It's the simple things in life that make it worth while.I love sitting outside and watch the Squirls....it makes me happy to be alive and that I get to enjoy moments like that.

yeah,u r absolutely right...i just get so much fed up with the city and college life that i just wanna go to some place which is just filled with nature...where i can sing to my heart's content...where there are no money problems and other tensions...where there is only just peace and happiness...do u have any idea abt such a place??

i find kids teach us a lot about the simple things in life. it amazes me how my daughter prefers to play with an old cardboard box then a high tech toy. imagination is a wonderful thing.

definitely.. Me too agree... A person start getting frustration and problems after he start becoming greedy.. He think that if he has huge amount of money then he'll be happy... and in this thinking he forget to take breath also... but afterwards in old age he realises that he just wsted his life for that all.. and life also ended... small things matters a lot....

You are just saying my word rosie. I believe in simple things for happiness. In this thechnology dominated world we humanbeing are just loosing our innerself gradually.We are becoming so materialistc. But personaly I just like to be happy by looking at flowers, sunset, walking around in a greeny area etc.

I agree that the simple things are the best like sitting on the porch and looking at nature, going on picnics, or walking in the rain.

Your right, the simple things in life are still the best. I love going for long walks on the beach, I find the sound of the sea so soothing. I also like sitting in a quiet room with a cup of tea and a good book, or sitting in front of a coal fire. With the huge advances in today's technology there are so many things to distract us that we often forget about the simple pleasures that life offers us. There are lots of times when i've wanted to stay in and watch a film and my partner (or should I say 'better half') has persuaded me to get my butt off the sofa and go for a walk, i've enjoyed it much more than I would have enjoyed the film and it's given us time to talk and 'bond' too.

I love the simple things too, because they are always there and don't need to be constantly upgraded like a computer or cellphone. You can just enjoy them the way they are. Simple things in life are something everybody should enjoy. I love just sitting there watching the snow fall or watch the birds eat. It's peaceful and calming.

I am a big one on the simple things of life, my kids think that sometimes I am going nuts. I love to go out side and walk and look at all the things God created. I also will turn off all the power to the house and live by candles and oil lamps for a couple of day's. I also love to cook using wood and bricks instead of the oven and stove.

I love people. I love interacting with them, watching them interact with each other, watching them interact with thigns around them. I could sit on a park bench and people watch all day and I would not get bored. I really love watching kids interact because they do it is such new and inexpected ways. But - every time I see an adults face, complete with their wrinkles and smile lines - I think 'there is a story behind that face'. I would ask everyone their storeis, but they would probably think I was insane haha.

I love sunsets, beautiful red skies, and the presence of nature's finest. I awe over rainbows, and I can actually stand there and just gaze for ages at rainbows, you don't often see them, yet we take them as well as red skies for granted.

I value the simple things in life, over any complex & overpriced possessions I may have. I would much rather spend my time watching the sunset than shopping for the perfect outfit. Basically I'd much rather do things that don't cost a ton of money & are beautiful to watch. I love to see all the colors the leaves turn on the trees. Somehow seeing a rainbow after a large downpour is another thing that I love. I also like spending time with the people I care about, doing stuff like having a marshmallow roast on the fire pit in our back yard. It's those little things that keep me smiling. I love to stargaze too. I remember this one time.. Where me & my other half walked to a park not far from where he was living at the time. We sat down & spent roughly an hr. & a half to 2 hrs. looking at the sky.. And talking.. We then we're able to see the northern lights, which I have never seen before.. So being able to share my first time seeing the northern lights was extra special. Other simple things that I enjoy are having nice hot bubble baths without any interruptions, as well as candles being lit within the room that helps to make it even more relaxing for me. Things such as getting home from having to run errands & having my little jack russell puppy run up.. With a toy in her mouth excited to see that I've returned home to her. Things such as clean bed sheets that we're being dried outside on a warm summer day. There's nothing like jumping in to bed that night & smelling the beautiful scent they give off just because they we're dried outside.. Being able to laugh so much until my tummy begins to ache from all the laughter. Another simple thing that I enjoy is coming in from the cold & having a hot cup of hot chocolate. And sitting by the fire with someone whom you love & who you can be yourself around as well. In conclusion.. I find the simple things are the things that make my life worth living. I try my hardest to concentrate on the simplest things in life because at the end of the day.. There more important than any other material that you can buy out there in this world. I love th simple things. I have really noticed that as time passes I enjoy these things even more. There is nothing like the beauty of nature to inspire you!

I love going out to play in the snow with my dogs, they love running and playing in the snow too. Buca (the lab) loves to run with his nose stuck in the snow and when he picks his head up he is covered in snow- he looks so sute, Shammy (the dachsaund) is so low to the ground he has to be careful he doesn't get stuck in a snow bank- its very comical

I love when a full moon is brightly lit in a clear sky, and I think one of the most relaxing things is finding a nice quiet spot and sitting down with a good book. I think society in general has become a little lazy and materialistic with all this technology. Sometimes there is nothing better than taking a little time to enjoy family and friends, and nature.
