What can someone do to lower it? What are the types of food that are good in lowering it?

Number one cholesterol is made by the body for some normal body functions. The key is not to eat an excess of it to add to your body. However, if you need to lower it and the level is different in some people. They will register higher and it is normal for them. OK.... Oatmeal!! onion, hot peppers, garlic. Include a bowl of oatmeal and go ahead and add fruit to make it better daily and in one month you should drop some points of your cholesterol. Good luck with this.

I will try to follow your tips. Thanks! Good thing I love onions and garlic, fried though. I am also taking virgin coconut oil, it's supposed to help but I want to do as much as possible, it's only a little high but I don't want it to go bad.

Salads but don't use the rich dressing, just add lime juice, olive oil, vinegar, mustard; all kinds of veggies esp bittergourds; all kinds of fruits esp starfruits. I'm just wondering, you are a nurse? And you are asking this question?

No, I'm still studying to be a nurse. We haven't learned this yet. And, I can't eat vegetables, I really don't like it.
