Have you heard the news about the junior school teacher who, while doing an experiment on light and dark , photocopied all students hands - and then one students FACE. That poor little boy now has itching in his eye and can see red spots. Isn't that INSANE ? How can a school have such an irresponsible teacher ? the boys parents sued the school and transfered their child to another school. What would you do if you were in their case ?

Garnish the teachers wages for the medical bill(s) amount. The school would have to censor the teacher so that it would become an example so that it would not happen to another child. This brings me a chuckle though. My kids know some karate type moves and if the teacher grabbed them......Well maybe my kids would be whole but in trouble. Glad that I homeschool my children!!!

I love the idea of garnish's teachers wages for the bills. thats exactly what they should do here. LOL.. Your kids know karate. Tell them to keep practising their moves, just in case. :)

That can also be described as child abuse and the teacher should be prosecuted. That is highly dangerous and extremely irresponsible. Totally, totally insane. I hope the school dismisses that teacher or severely reprimands them. That could also have serious health implications, surely those rays from the photocopier are highly dangerous if exposed to the skin and indeed the eye, that could have blinded him. Absolute madness.

Poor kid. Man if that happened to my kid, I'd have him yanked out of that school in no time. I'd do more than just sue the school, I'd have it all over the media in a flash. So stupid. Just imagine how much radiation that poor kid has in his body now.

I would have thought that a teacher would have had more sense to not do such a thing! A teacher of all people should have known that the light from a photocopy machine could be harmful. And if anyone has ever held their hand over a piece of paper while photocopying it, you would feel the heat! How the heck (wanted to put a strong word there) could a teacher think it would be okay to photocopy a child's face! I certainly hope that teacher is severely reprimanded!!!

I have not read this before. I am sure the teacher is all of 21 or 22, since she did something this crazy! I doubt she was taught this in college. If it was my child I would have been extremely upset and probably would have sued the school, school board and the teacher. The teacher should have to pay for what she did, not just through her job, but also take personal responsibility for her actions. This is endangering the welfare of a child. I am sure the authorities will do the right thing.

My goodness, that's ridiculous. I can't believe a grown up could be so irresponsible. One would only expect this thing to happen with a group of immature teenagers. That teacher should be sacked because he's not well, to put it mildly.

i think they should have psychological tests before they hire teachers and after that once a year for the teachers. we dont want our children going through this at the hands of a crazy teacher

I have a feeling that "little boy" is making it up. No offense, but children do tend to exaggerate these things. I am a teacher and I have no desire to have extra copies of my kids... hehe.
