I have so many great responding friends I wish I could control how they are organized in my folder. I would like to put the active ones on the front page and the not so active next, then the inactive on the back page. That way I could go to the active ones and reply to them weekly. I could keep an eye on the not so active ones. And I could remove the nonactive ones. Waht do you think, would this help you too?

I think too that we should be allowed to organize our friend list. It would be a great help for me, as well. What I would mainly like is if new friends would always be added to the last page. I don't understand why this doesn't already happen, lol! It's really hard when you already have a good few pages of friends and you have new ones added, to go through like 10-15 pages of friends so that you can turn notification on for those new friends. It takes up so much more time than if the new friends were always either at the front or back of the list. I've never understood why they are placed randomly throughout the list. I tried to figure out if it goes by when a person joined the site, but I can't tell. If so, it seems like some users with nearly 9000 posts or so would be at the front of my list, being around the site longer, but that isn't always the case. Oh well. I hope that Mylot will give us a way to organize, eventually! ^_^

Hi wmg2006, now that you mention it, I think it would be a gr8 idea. I would love to be able to do this..that way I can direct my efforts to responding to the active ones more and the others accordingly. Very often few of my active good friends are on the last page on the list!!

I agree, I think it would be great if we had some of of personalizing/organizing our friends list. As for me, I have many on mine that aren't that active, so I would like to be able to move them to one area, while the friends that respond more, I could have up front. May this is something myLot will do if enough people want it and request it. We can hope, it would definitly be a big help to those of us with larger friends lists.

Oh that would be a wonderful idea! I would love to be able to group my really great supportive friends together. I was wondering if that was possible now, but I suppose not. Great suggestion!

Like you I also wish that we could organize our friends list! Still I want to make the way to respond to those helpful friend by myself. So, waht I do is I make the notify on of those friends who are taking active part on my discussions. By that way I can get updated myself with their discussions and I can respond them in a quick time. And regarding other friends every now and then I go through their profile and give response to interesting topics.

I can't do this anymore, because I have hundreds who are responding and they are also atarting new discussions. My email box would be jammed and I would be spending all my time in my email instead of here. When my list was low it worked but not now that have almost 400 friends and I want 1000. I am hoping to get at least 500 responses from my friends to my various discussions.

That would be a great idea, it would also be nice to be able to make their pictures smaller so they don't take up so much space on the page.

Excellent Suggestion, and thought. This would be Awesome if we could do this. I would then rank them also in who responds the most to my discussions as well, so they really would get more of my time as well. Maybe somehow this can eventually happen to where we can control our friends list more this way, and encourage others to be more active if they want to receive the Top Spot in Friends from everyone.

I think they could help us search and organize I think that would be great then the ones who dont answer could be moved to the end if not deleted

Yes it would be nice to organize my friends. Also when you add a new friend to know that it goes to the end of the list or the front - some place consistant. Right now you just never know where they are going to be and you have to look thru your whole list sometomes in order to find them and turn on notification.

Yes I totally agree with you there and I hope that one Day we might be able to that as it is so hard to keep going through the Lists

I've been thinking the same thing for a long time..I've got lots of friends, but some that I would like to be able to find really quick, and with my list growing, it takes a few minutes to go through the pages and find them.

Yes, I've been thinking the same thing. In fact I deleted a few who haven't logged on in a month or so. That way I could keep it on 2 pages. I still have some on there who haven't logged on in a long time that I'm thinking about deleting. As soon as I do though they will probably log on.

Ohh yes .. it all seems very muddly as it is at the moment .. I presume it's supposed to be alphabetical .. or maybe not as mine isn't correct for alphabetical .. but it's not in the order I 'gained' my friends either .. If my friends went to the top of the queue each time they post something that would be very helpful I think ...

But on the contrary I still want them to be there inactive or active. They are still friends. They may be bust with other things that they are not active here in mylot.

Yeah I think that is a brilliant time! Like on bebo and myspace you can have top friends! Why not on mylot. The people you feel you have a connection and have common with and they reply to yours and you reply to theirs. Id love to be able to notice who REALLY in my friends list actually does anything in my discussions as i know quite a few people have added me as a friend and they don't bother with my discussions! Why bother adding people if ya aint gonna reply to their discussions??!! It annoys the hell out of me!

Yes! I wish I could organize them into categories such as people I know in real life or people from certain parts of the world or by age/gender, etc.

Why not just delete the inactive ones? i mean, i agree that we should be able to organize the list, but why keep inactives round?

My reasoning behind not deleting them is if I knew which ones were really inactive, I might be able to work with them and make them active. :)
