feel worthless being just a stay-at-home mom?... When kids ignore you... Or when you're husband neglect you?

I do feel unappreciated at times. So I know what you mean. I feel like I've sacrificed my career and the extra income for the benefit of this family but sometimes they look at me like I have it "easy" just staying home all day. I know how to remind them though, just don't do things for a day or two and all of a sudden they are kissing my butt and thanking me for all I do. :)

We sometimes cant avoid feeling this way. Maybe because of too much work around. But at the end of the day, when they hug and thank us, wow, it's great, they just made our day.

Sometimes I feel bad because I don't contribute financially. But if I didn't stay home with my kids then we would pay high prices in daycare and the older ones would be latch key children.

Being a mother to your children is the most important job in the world. I wish your husband would appreciate you for that.

I don't feel worthless but I do feel taken for granted a LOT. I feel like well maybe if I started working again then they wouldn't take me for granted so much but I feel like I am doing the right thing for the kids for now staying at home and taking care of them.

I totally understand that... sometime even though you know your kids and husband love you ... sometimes you feel like wow , does anyone relize how much I do around here? I guess you could put that under unappreciated...
