Personally, I love chicken livers. I've been craving them lately!! I make them the way my Mom used to. Rolled in flour and fried in a little bit of olive oil with salt on them. My friends either love them or hate them. How about you? Do you like chicken livers or hate them? Thanks for your reply!! :-)

Ahhh...I know most think of chicken gizzards and chicken livers as being the same, since they're innards! But the gizzards are a little tough to eat, and the livers are easier to chew!! Most wouldn't eat either, but I like them both!! More chicken livers then gizzards! Thanks for your reply!! :-)

My kids don't eat them, and they think they're gross. My brothers eat them, and I think that's because we were raised that way. I sometimes have to indulge and make some for myself. My kids are older and not always home for dinner, so that's when I make them for me!! :-) Thanks for your reply chicken liver lover!! :-)

I love chicken livers. My mom seldom ever made them because she hated them. My dad's mom,( my grandmother,) would make them quite often for us,

I love them from KFC. They are getting hard to find on their menu in some areas. But this is the only way I will eat them.

I never knew that KFC sold chicken livers! I've never seen them on the menu here. Although it would gross out the kids if I ordered them, I'm going to check the next time we're there. I hope they have them!! Thanks for your reply!! :-)

Oh I haven't had chicken liver in I don't know how long. I love eating them. My grandmother used to make them wrapped in bacon. I loved them since as long as I can remember. There used to ba chicken drive up when I was younger. It was called "chicken delight" and there was a tv comercial that sang..Don't cook tonight, call chicken delight. They had the best fried chicken livers. I used to get them there all the time...Then Kentucky Fried Chicken ran them out of business. I'm going to have to make some soon.

I don't like any kind of liver. My mom used to make liver and onions for her and my dad when I was little and she always knew to make me something different because I wouldn't eat it. Just the smell of it makes me sick. My husband doesn't like it either. :)

You sound like most of my friends that don't like them!! They think I'm weird for eating them, but I guess my personality makes up for my chicken liver eating habit! Thanks for your reply!! :-)

I'm going to sound like a child - Yucky! I have never liked them. I never could stand to smell them cooking, either. Thankfully, my mom never made them. But,my step-mother did.It still turns my stomache to this day when I visit my her and my Dad and she's cooking them. The only time you will see me near chicken livers is for fishing. I have found that they are great bait.

Umm... I'll eat it, but I prefer the gizzard and the heart better.. =D~ I'm an Asian.. We eat everything.. Hahaha.. It surprised me a little though that white people would eat them.. I know that they sell them in grocery stores, and sometimes Safeway has the fried one available at the counter, but still... Many people are grossen out by them..

I seem to remember that in "Rosemary's Baby", chicken livers were very strongly crazed by Rosemary when she was pregnant with her little demon. She preferred hers raw, though. Personally, I would never touch one!

i can't deny that i love chicken liver or the gizzard. I think basically what makes peoples feel yucky to these two parts of the chicken is how them cooked. As an Asian, we cook our food with a lots of spices and herbs which I believed can help to make the unpleasant smell and taste of some main ingredients vanish and gives the nice taste and smell in return. We cook chicken liver in some different ways which gives a different taste too. I cook them in curry, make a stir fry with big chilies which taste hot or fried them with with marinade them with some pepper, mashed garlic, some turmeric powder and salt.

Never liked it before, but when my son was diagonised with rythmic fever, I read in the internet that before any medication for this condition was found, it was said that chicken liver was the main food that was given as a medication so to help my son like to eat chicken as a supplement to his medication, we, the all family members started to eat chicken liver so that my son would eat as part of family favourite dish. We all now make it our favourite. He is cure of this condition, but chicken liver is still our favourite no matter how it is cooked, we all loved it.
