brand name, the generics usually don't hold enough, or leak real bad, at least that has been my experience with them...

I use Target brand diapers because they have worked the best for my daughter plus they are cheaper. I do like Pampers though also and Huggies weren't good my daughter always wet or pooped out of the sides of them.

We buy the name brand diapers. We tried to generic (walmart brand) and they didn't do cr*p! LOL I couldn't wait til we used all of those up! ;) After that, we ONLY buy huggies or pampers. We have not tried target brand diapers... are they really that good? :) Cheaper huh? hmmm we'll have to try those...

I like Pampers and Luvs. I have used Targets brand too, they are also good. I buy the cheap ones unless the others are on sale or I have a coupon for them!

They vary a lot, both the name brands and the generics. I run a daycare center and parents provide their own diapers so I see LOTS of different brands. From what I've seen, I'd say that of the name brands, Papmers work well, as do Huggies for most babies. Luvs may be a bit cheaper per diaper, but they have to be changed very frequently in order to avoid leaks, so I don't really think that they are a bargain. Target sells a high quality generic, as does Sam's Club. Walgreens brand diapers are useless -- you may as well save your money and just let the baby tinkle right on the floor!

Depends on the diaper and the kid. The most expensive diapers don't mean the best... to be honest Luv's have been the best diapers I have ever used. I don't know if you consider them a name brand or not but they definitely aren't the most expensive

name brand is much better, even if it cost alittle more you can get coupons to help out on the cost.
