Would you recommend Paris as a place to visit for a vacation. I think it would be a great place considering its place in history and all of the amazing monuments and sights you can find there. I think I am going there. Have you been? Or do you recommend going to Paris?

Ah! Paris where art, fashion, intellectual debate, idiosyncracy, architectural and artistic extravagance, cuisine, haute cusine - need I say more! Berlin INMHO is stodgy in comparison(though a fine city as well).

I was in Paris a few years ago on a family holiday. It is a lovely city and I think you should definitely go. I really can't remember a lot about it as my memory isn't great, but the weather was fab and I remember we had lots of fun in Euro Disney! lol

I love Paris, is a town full of art and history, there are many beautiful and interesting shops you'll appreciate, you are a young girl, there are shops of every kind. You'll fall in love for Paris, I'm Italian, my country is a country full of history and art, Rome, our capital, is really special, but my favourite town in the world is Paris. Go to Paris, this wonderful town never will disappoint you.

i loved paris...all four seasons! go the chatelet les halles and there is this great creperie near there. i cant remember the exact street its called...it starts with an m...anyways the place is called la crepe dentelle...the best one that i've tasted in the city. montemartre was really charming and the latin quarter was amazing. you can walk through the whole city in one day. if you are planning to go to the louvre reserve one day for it(it takes about a week to view and appreciate everything in there! can u believe that?) i have a friend who rented an aparment for a week close to the st. denis station. he said that its more affordable than going with a hotel. i can go on and on just message me if you have any further questions....you should definately go!

cNotable, I do love Paris. Whether I am sipping coffee in a Left Bank Cafe, or dining a la mode in a fancy restaurant or brasserie or catching a show Paris is vibrant and sensuous. Instead of telling you things that you can find in guidebooks You seem to be interested in food. So I will share with you some places where I like the food and ambience. L'Arpege is quite an extraordinary place, and the locals swear by it. The decor is passable and the appointments are not particularly plush. But the food is a gourmet's delight. It helps if your meal is on "expense account" or tax deductible, because it can set you back a fair bit. The maitre d' who has been around for ages is rather impish and can be relied upon to find a good table if a lady asks politely. In the Latin Quarter, I like El Fogon, which is actually a Spanish bistro. Their tapas are the best I have tasted outside Spain. l'Escale is a popular Left Bank Cafe/Bistro. The bar is comfortable and there is al fresco service on fine days. I like Indian food, and one of the finest Indian restaurants in the world (in my opinion) is Yuvraj in Paris. (The Bombay Brasserie in London and Raga in New York are A1 but not in the same class. Street food is great and near subway exits and such my favourite food on the go are Crepes Sarrasan. These buckwheat crepes from Brittany are just about as unique a Parisian experience as Madame Tussaud's is. Cheers. And Bon Voyage! The Aberotel is a fine, inexpensive (by Paris standards) hotel in the heart of the Montparnasse. Mme Meyer runs a superb establishment. There is always the Cinq George or the Ritz if you want to go a bit more upscale.

I would definately recommend visiting Paris it is an awesome place, so many things to discover, many beautiful monuments : the eiffel tower, the versaille castle, Notre dame cathedral... and so on A tip if you like art, visiting Le LOUVRE if free on the last sunday of each month but you have to be patient because people are queuing for that! but it is a magnificent museum I have never lived in Paris but visited it several times because I used to live in France So a big YES for Paris ... ENJOY

Yeah its a great place and not to miss. Brussels is great too. Both places have great food. If you are lover of the history you should spend quite some time to go through all the monuments. June - July is the best time to visit.

Paris is my favorite of the European cities I've visited, in large part because I had studied its history for a long time before I ever saw it. I reccomend doing some reading beforehand to enhance your experience.

Paris Wow, thats the place to be and live in. You will never regret your decision for having gone to paris. It is one of the most wonderful places that I have ever been. The roads, the people, the trains, the architecture, the places within, River Sienne, Louvre, Notre Damme Champs Elysee and most of the Eiffel Tower. Its simply unbelieveable. Seeing the world from top, the extreme tip of the tower is something to believe only when you are there. Yes go ahead lady, dont look back, your decision to go to Paris is absolutely right. Do pick up a map from the airport, once you reach there. It will be very helpful. all the best. Keep smiling...and vacationing Hope I have answered your question. from Mike, the smiley devil

Surely I would recommend. Paris is a very very awesome city to visit to. When you go to Paris, do not forget to visit the Eiffel Tower. If not you would be missing something. One other attraction which I did not visit when I was in Paris few years ago is The Louvre Pyramid or also known as Glass Pyramid. Enjoy your time while in Paris. Visit as many attractions or places as you can. That's my advice.

I have not been there myself but my parents have been there and they loved it there. They showed me pictures of Paris and it looks great and there is a lot to do and see. I think many places are worth seeing at least once in our lives. I certainly hope that I will get to go there someday and see what it is like. If you go, have a great time.

Paris is a stunningly gorgeous city with a wonderful elegant atmosphere. Just a stroll along the banks of the Seine is a great pleasure. Visit the Louvre and the beautiful Musee D'Orsay if you get a chance. Great shopping along the Boulevard Housmann, lovely cafes and restaurants in St. Germain de Pres and along Boulevard St. Michel. And it helps (although it's also a pity) that nowadays Parisians don't mind speaking English anymore, something that never used to be case. Have fun!
