Why do people use so strong colours for the profile pages?

Lol I hope you don't mean mine lol. I have noticed it to though I have to be honest, put Sunglasses on Weeman, I will be soon lol.

Well actually I do not have any problems reading any of the discussions I have done so far!! Oh yes some members their profile are very strong the colour they use, and it is hard on the eyes. I have not seen that many though actually as this stops me a lot of the time going to their profiles.

It's getting the colour scheme right, making sure the colours do not clash or mask the writing beneath. I have tried to work on my colour scheme of my profile, currently I'm happy with it. Blue is one of the colours that is easy on the eyes. It's having an eye for detail and personalizing your profile, I do have to highlight the words sometimes so that I can see what is beneath the colour because the colour is too dark.

I'm sure I don't know .. a lot of the profiles I go to check out can hardly be read because all the colours clash so badly or blend into each other ... It's nice to be colourful and 'fancy' .. but do please let us read your profiles .. you never know we might have a lot in common if we could only read the flippin' words heheheh

How do you change the background color in your profile? I have seen some of the backgrounds and the colors too and some of them you can't hardly read. I haven't had a hard time reading thier discussions because I read all of mine from my mailbox or at the site. All of my backgrounds are in white and the letters are black.

Well I hope mine doesnt offend lol. I chose light purples and colours like that and left the writing black so its easy to read. I know what you meen though it can be pretty head spinning going into some peoples sites lol

I have a really hard time reading some of the print on a person's profile page sometimes as well. At least I know it is not just because I am getting old. lol

I don't know why people choose the colors that they do. I like bright colors but you can still read the stuff on my profile page. I saw one profile that was blue with a darker blue writing on it and I couldn't hardly read it at all.
