I always listen to the 80's music rock or country it dont matter to me. I have lots of CD's with nothing but 80's music. I do listen to some nickelback and hinder and maybe some others but as far as country goes i always have a tear in my beer lol.

I'm not lost in the 80's lol. I was born in '84. So I'm more familiar with the 90's. I still love watching shows from the 90's. And there are songs I still listen to from the 90's. SO I do relate to you just one decade later lol :) I don't see anything wrong with it. You don't have to be like everyone else. Do what you like.

Well we may be lost but we aren't alone :) I love the music from the 80's and earlier. I do enjoy some from the 90's and today but most of what I listen to is from the 80's. It's when I was a teenager and listened to music a lot. I guess those songs just stuck with us and nothing will ever really compare to them.

I am very much an 80's girl I have seen what is popular now & I am not impressed with most of it. I love 80's music & movies. I can do without the fashion though lol. My girls even love Bon Jovi & Poison at 7 1/2 & 6, what more could a mom ask for ;)

Well, most of my favorite movies are from the 80's and I ahve a huge collection of 80's Cd's. I loved groups like Cinderella and Def Leppard. So embarrassing to admit now! The one thing I DON'T miss from the 80's is the fashions. The leggings and the big shoulder pads, not to mention the big hair! UGH!!!

LOL i dont miss the fashion either. When i watch an 80's movie i just laugh and think to myself "what on earth was we thinking". Them tight jeans pulled up to arm pits and the legs rolled tight at the ends with our 3 diffrent colors of socks over top of them and lets don't forget them god awful hightop tennies. HAHAHA and the hair was teased out with a bottle of hair spray. Goodness i was a dork lol.

I enjoy the music of the 80's. Whenever I hear Cyndi Lauper singing True Colors I am brought back to the days of spandex and big hairdos. Men in spandex woo hoo! And they wore make-up too.

Just letting you know. That you are not alone. I am stuck in the eighties rock music as well. Many of my friends say the eighties are cheesy. Meaning they suck with no talent. But that is the era when I grew up. I graduated from highschool in 1989. I am a hair band freak.

I'm lost in the 80's as far as music is concerned but I don't wear heavy makeup and big hair anymore LOL Oh, no parachute pants either ;) I have a 16 year old son who loves my old music more than what they play today.

In 1980 I was 14. I remember those years very well, but when I lived them I didnt' love them. I remember they called the 80's the years of Reagan hedonism. I didn't like Reagan and the Italian politicians (I am Italian), I didn't like the first stupid Italian TV programs, I didn't like the new wave music (Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, stc.), I liked only punk music that was against all that status quo, and my favourite band, the Crass, stopped in 1984. But I have to admit that today, when I happen to listen a new wave song or to watch a video on MTV with a band of the 80's I stop all my activities, seat down and listen that song remembering the 80's and my lost youth.

I may not be lost in the 80's because I'm still stuck in the 70's. I still listen almost exclusivly to 70's classic rock and I still wear my hair long, I have to put it in a ponytail at work and I still live with the 70's attitude. Maybe someday I'll make it into the 80's, but right now I dont really want to. By the way, does anyone know were I can get a pair of vintage guys bell-bottems

I love the 80s music! First of all, the style in the 80s really has come back in a lot of different ways. It was crazy, be "whoever you want to be" type of style. The music of the 80s is so great because we all connect to those fast/pop songs or the slow love ballads. I bet anyone can hear a song from the 80s, no matter how old they may be, and connect to it. In my opinion, there's some sort of innocence that goes along with 80s music. I've always liked it and always will...
