Guys.. a simple discussion. Should personal emails be banned at work places ?? Most organisations accross the globe today block email sites like Yahoo, Google and Hotmail for the simple reason that it decreases productivity. Does productivity actually decrease or increases ??

I really believe it has to do with the organization . If you are wasting your time answering emails and checking your email while you should be working then this does nothing to help the company grow . I can't really think of any reason why anyone would have to check their email while they were supposed to be at work , working .

As long as the person can get their job done, there's no reason to ban personal e-mails. I used to check my mail at school all the time, but I always got my work done.
