How many hours do you sleep?

I sleep 7-8 hours in a day.

I sleep for about 7 hours a day.in addition, i take a samll nap of 45 minutes in the afternoon.This sleep keeps me fit and fine.

Yes, I too take a short afternoon nap, about 1 hour. LOL

Technically from 6 to 8 hours, but some days I've to sleep 5 hours

Same goes with me. Sometimes due to work, I sleep for lesser number of hours.

Usually about eight hours. I just need enough to be able to function.

Yes, I do agree that 8 hours sleep is enough to take rest. However, I believe that our ideal sleeping hours should be 7. What do you say?

hmm..there is no specific time..it depends..sometimes i sleep for more than 12hours and sometimes less than 5 hours...but approximatley i sleep for more than 8 hours...

I don't get as much as I need I think. I get anywhere from 4-6 hours of sleep a night. Weekends I end up getting about 10 hours or so because I'm trying to 'catch up' on all the sleep I missed out on during the week.

Though I go sleep at round 1AM or 2AM, I see to it that I have an 8hour sleeping time, I wokeup at around 9AM or 10AM.

i sleep 7-8 hour if dont tire. and if i tire i sleep 11-12 hour.sometime i dont sleep for 1 day.but sleep is important to me.

my sleep pattern is very messed up it varies on what im doing ie working going to uni or just go a day off. i tend to get from 4 to 10 hours sleep depending on what mood im in.

i usually sleep six to eight hours a day whethter i sleep early or very early in the morning. but at time i sleep 12 hours that is if i am very very tired.

the best composition for adult is arround 8 hours sleep well, but you must be sleep in good quality. I'm always tried to sleep 8 hours a day, but sometimes I can't do that, I often get sleep to late, and wake a little early, that makes me sleepy at works, and feel not fit at works.

sleep is thing that i always think that i never devote my time too , i hardly sleep for more 6 hours ,even on weekends partying and goin out with friends results in me catching less sleep

I would like to sleep alot more than I actually do I have a 13 month old that likes to keep me up all hours of the night and I'm also pregnant which gives me a bad case of insomnia. So total I would say I sleep 6-8 hours but not all at once its broken up throuhgout the day and night.

in the weekdays I sleep like 4-5 hours. But in the weekebd I can sleep more than 8 hours straight. I've been sleep for 23 hours before

as much as possible, I try to sleep for 8 hours. But there are times where you just have enough hours to rest(maybe 4-5 hours of sleep). In this situation, I'll make it up by taking a nap in the afternoon particularly during my work's lunch break.

I sleep about 6 hours a day now. I used to sleep more but not anymore. I read a post the other day stating that your life may be shortened, the more you sleep. In a case study, those that sleep more than 10 hours a day tend to die younger than those who sleep less. But I look at it this way, if you sleep 8 hours a day, you sleep 1/3 of your life away. So by cutting down on sleep, I get more time to do other things that I want or have to do.

I sleep between four and five hours, and don't feel like I need more.
