Well, I think most people here are here for the money. Yet, there are some people who just enjoys the discussions here and post their ideas. In the latter's case, the earnings are just additional perks. =)

Well, I don't think anyone is going to get rich responding to comments on mylot. I think it's a way to make contacts with people, through the contacts you make here you may be able to increase your business. Getting a few pennies out of the deal is a bonus.

It is true that many have their businesses in their profile but at the same time I am not too sure whether or not it does any good. I for one just glance past those details really because they are of no real interst to me. Except of couse that the information can tell me a bit more about the person, who is usually a friend anyway if I am responding to their discussions.
Actually I came here to myLot because another forum I was on was having some problems and a lot of snitching going on, so I was out of there. I have found that there are a lot of interesting discussions here and have some good friends too. So for me it is more about the "talking" to other people, learning about different cultures and customs and what I earn is a bonus. I will not knock it back certainly and it will help out when we are off on our next jaunt somewhere in Australia, but it is not my motivating reason for joining or coming back to take part in discussions. :)

it is not my motivating factor either, as I have taken on another job, and have a house, laundry and children...sooooooo...but as someone said to me, it helps if you have a threat of a fee for a bouncing check. Not that I have that problem either...but who can't use spare change. which is what it is for me. I definitely agree with you about the customs and cultures..it is fun to hear about people all around the world to see what is going on.

I joined myLot through a site that was promoting free work at home. I guess I need money. I work hard a myLot because I enjoy it, as it is certainly not enough money in and of itself to do me a lot of good. I have some links on my profile that I think could do both myself and others good. I also work two jobs. Unfortunately money seems to be what poswers our lives.

well, we need money for our everyday expenses to get by. but i don't think it's being greedy. i guess most of the people who are here have their own businesses so they have control of their own time and that they can spend some their time in here to earn some more or just be productive in some other ways.

just a question. I wasn't accusing anyone in particular of being greedy. For me, whatever little I get, it's just extra. And who doesn't like a little extra spare change? It's something that I didn't have, and I get to make friends along the way!
