A "House " is any house which you can talk about. It can be your house or your friend's house or your sister's house. When you say home it is meant that you are speaking about your home. Like in the sentence "I am going home" It means that you are going to your house (the place where you stay). I do hope I am clear in this matter.

Well a home is where you live and make it comfy to live in and a house is just a house like someones house. Its very hard to explain. A home is what you make of it.

indeed a house is an object, a noun, common to everyone. A house is a house to everyone else, but is home to one. To that person, he calls it home. "I'm going home". You cannot say I'm going house. Home is an interesting word indeed now that you have brought it up... I'm going home. Where's the verb/noun that is common in most sentences like I have a beautiful house, where beautiful is the verb and house is the noun.

A house is a structured building that we live in. A home is what we make it with our families, love, personal touches.

house is the structure or the building where you live, while home is place where a person or family lives, where there is love and safety. Home is place where there's happy family leaving (mother, father, son, daughter, etc), complete. Home is often a place of refuge and safety, where worldly cares fade and the things and people that one loves becomes the focus

You are right, English is a hard language to learn. There is the word house, a noun, that means a structure. We have single family houses, and then apartment houses, trailer houses. All those things are spaces where people live. Kids have tree houses, and play houses, where people play. Home is the word for a house or dwelling that belongs to someone. I am going home. There are group homes, nursing homes, care homes. Many poeple have stressed that a home is for a family, but they forget to mention that a single person can also have a home. A home is a house that someone has put some thought and care into. A house is not necessarily a home, if it is not the place that someone goes to feel safe, and like they belong. I hope some of us are helpful to you. Feel free to ask for help with any other English concepts. We will all try to help.

A house is just a structure while a home is the people who live in the house and make it safe and pleasant place to be. You can live in a beautiful home, but if you have no one to love and share it with, then it's just a plain house no matter how fancy it is.
