I am a bit worried now , was it being cheeky ?

My wife did the same thing, in a nice manner of course. I have not made that request yet, but plan to. Respectful requests should not offend anyone. Wife says she hopes everyone who feels this way will contact myLot and tell them why.

I don't know why you would think that you were being cheeky, if you had demanded in a loud voice "We want our numbers back below the avatar, now" I would say yes, but making a simple request, never. :) Usually people like to hear what people want at sites like this to make the people happy. I did the same thing! I started off telling them how great most of the new look was, but pointed out that most of the users wanted to see the numbers and the star ratings by the Avatar. I hope that they respond to that.

You have the right to ask for it back, as i already understand from reading through the discussions you and many others has done so (or will do so) politely and there's nothing wrong with that .. I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to write to mylot as i thought they must have a good reason for taking it out .. maybe trying to get us concentrating on quality and not counting points as some people mentioned in other discussions.. :)

no i don't think you was being cheeky, i said before in a discussin that the layout of this site is good but it's just i don't like not seeing the number of posts ive done, it would be better if we could still see them besides our name! so don't worry about it, it will be fine! :O)

No, not at all, I am a firm believer that if you don't ask you don't get! What's the worst they can do? Say no, or ignore you, either way you get an answer to your question, rather than sitting back thinking I wonder, I wonder if.... I don't think that's being cheeky or forward. It was being honest. You let them know what you liked and what you didn't like. That was good. I'm hoping they give them back. I have to admit it made it easier because I do like to see how my number is doing, and if I have to keep checking in the posts it makes it harder. I also wish they'd put our star up there as well. That way we could check it without being in a post.

I think you have voiced what the rest think of the revamp. When i first logged in after the integration of this new look, the first thing i felt missing was the number of posts next to our names on the top left side of the page. It's pretty hard to keep checking our current number of posts until after we reply to a discussion or go to our profile. So don't worry, i think many others feel the same way. So your not being cheeky. :)

If you were forward then I was also forward as I did the very same thing, but also added in that the pages didn't fit my screen any more (which they now do, so I probably wasn't alone in asking for that to be changed back) .. That's what MyLot are there for surely .. to tell when things are good and when things are bad .. but it would be nice now if they would just keep to how it is for a while .. it's going to take me a while to find eveything again ...

No I do not think you were to forward at all as I really want them back too so hopefully they will fix this so we know exactly how many responses we have done for the day more easier.

I don't think you were being too forward at all. As a matter of fact, I was thinking of contacting them myself about it. Maybe if we all tell them about wanting it back, they will do so.

I think it was a great idea to write to the admin. I have wrote to the admin before and never got a reply back from them. I'm not sure why they didn't respond to my question. I guess they got busy and over looked it. Have they ever responded back to you before?

I don't think it's a problem for you to write and ask for the numbers back. But it's not that hard to just look on one of your posts and see the number. I find that I'm posting more by just going with the flow instead of worrying about the numbers.

No you weren't Weemam, so stop worrying, they do want Members to come forward with Ideas so it should not be a Problem at all. I have to admit I miss mine to.
