I have a DVD player, and I also have a VCR (VHS format) that I still use. I still have lots of family events that are recorded and will only play on my VCR.

Yes I definitely have a DVD player but it is actually "playing up" at the moment so it might be time to buy a new one. Next time around I will buy one that records as well.

We have both a DVD player and VHS tape player. We own several movies on VHS that we actually enjoy enough to watch more than once, so yes, we do use our VHS. Plus you can get VHS movies at huge discounts so sometimes it is worth it to us to pick up older films at cheap, cheap prices. Cheers!

We have a DVD/VCR combo in the living room where we spend most of our TV watching time. We have to have the DVD player with the VCR because the kids movies are mostly in VHS format. We prefer the DVD's but not all of the kids shows we have can be bought on DVD at this time. We keep checking but they aren't putting some of the old kids shows on DVD yet, if ever. Then I have the playstation 2 in my room which I can use for DVD's. The kids room has a TV/VCR combo. The kids are too young to have a DVD player in their room since we would never allow them to handle the DVD's on their own since they destroy so many things. It doesn't bother us as much when the kids destroy their videos through carelessness.

Yes, we have dvd players in our home, but I still use the vcr everyday for my 2 yr old daughter. She has ruined quite a few dvds. My olders kids (ages 12-20) keep forgetting there is a baby in the house. They would always leave the dvds down low. Than of course my daughter figured out how to pop open the dvd player. What's cool about the vcr is that I have found a thrift storethat sells vhs tapes in packs of 10 for $3.95. I have been able to buy my daughter tons of educational videos like Baby Einstein, Elmo and Barney for almost nithing. So for now, we are VHSing. LOL Grownups can use the dvd player.

I like VHS players for all my Disney movies from childhood. I still have them, they are in working order, so why shell out $20 for them on DVD? Also, my store Wal-Mart sells new movies on VHS for $1.88 and $5.96, while these titles on DVD would be triple or double that. I do have a DVD player, though.

I have a DVD/VHS player in my room, as well as one in the living room. For me personally, I could never live without my VHS player. I have so many videos that I love to watch.

We do own a dvd player. Bought it after our housefire. Thought since we had the chance why not upgrade our watching. We also have a vhs player. Alot of our movies are still vhs thought our dvd collection is growing. Preferring to buy dvd, however, if the deal is right then we buy the vhs. no problems.

Yes, most of the people use DVD now, I believe. And moreover, recently I have read of some new statistics that was made in the CD/DVD industry - people start downloading more and more music and films nowadays. This way, even the sales in CD/DVD stores are declining.

I don't have a dvd player . I haven't seen anyone using vhs player for a long time.I have seen them lying around covered in dust. I think that will be the same fate facing dvd player in the future.
