Childhood Singer Crush

I've always had a big crush on David Bowie..still do in fact! And no, that's not showing my age, I'm only 23 :-P

Oh my, oh my.. back to the good old days. I will never forget my crush on Leif Garrett! Geez..do you even know or remember him? I hope so.. (blush). I remember cutting out his pictures from all fan magazines I could get my hands into and paste them on my scrap book. I can't believe I did those things! I wonder if you still like Donny Osmond when you see him now. I don't see Leif anymore but I bet if I do, I would say to myself that I was really crazy!

Davis Cassidy from the Partridge Family. Donny was hot too. Michael was cute back then. Those were the days....

As for my age--my adolescent crush was Richard Chamberlain--remember him on the doctor show?

I had three main music related ones in my teens. Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys, one of the guys from the uk boyband Five (he obviously made such an impact I can't even remember his name. I remember the posters plastered to my wall though.) The final and a very very sad one when I think about it was Taylor Hanson. Oh my... what on earth was I thinking of.

I was madly in love with David Cassidy in the early 70's! I used to collect the Partridge Family trading cards-=- they came in a pack with gum that tasted like cardboard. Later on it was Leif Garrett and Andy Gibb!

When i was younger, it was Micheal Jackson all the way! WHen i got to the teen years, I was so in love/obsessed with the New Kids on the Block. My favorite was Donnie Walhberg. I also liked Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Madonna, Bon Jovi, but my main object of obsessions were the NKOTB

Rick Springfield was one of my all time favorites and I liked a few of the members from Duran Duran. They were also both out quite a few years back also.

I loved donnie wahlburg from new kids on the block. lol. i also really liked david bowie, because i was obsessed with the movie labrynth. God. i still watch that movie at least once a year!

Okay, since you asked,I'll tell you.I think I may have been an odd child. I had a thing for guys like Leif Garrett,Shawn Cassidy , and Rex Smith. Anyone remember Rex Smith? I loved his song You Take My Breath Away . But, I really had a huge crush on Johnny Cash and Roy Rodgers. Yes, they were way older than me.

Well, I guess the only singer I could say I really had a crush on was Mac Davis of all people....lol Probably aren't even a handful of people who remember him.

I have a huge crush on the MENUDO - especially Ricky Martin!!! Haha :)

Mine would have to be Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Block. I loved him back then and I'm still a fan of his today. I just love his songs. Like you, it makes me smile to think about it.

I finished high school in 1991. And throughout most of my high school days I crushed after Michael Hutchence from INXS. I thought he was the sexiest, coolest guy I had ever seen! He was super cool, in a great rock band, could sing and looked good in leather pants.... Kinda strange for me cause I'm gay... but I still look back at videos of him singing and think he's hot... he just had something about him.

mine is michael jackson, my room looked like an MJ shrine when i was in 6th grade.all four walls were filled with MJ posters including the doors and the insides of the closet! my desk had his pictures though! i know, its crazy..lol i no longer collect his pictures now.. i still love him though.. =)

In the 70's when I was a child I was totally in love with shawn cassidy and lief garret! Wow I would actually cry when I heard their music and my parents to me to the kentucky state fair in louisville way back then and I seen shawn cassidy.

I also loved David Bowie. But I have to say I've loved Matt Bellamy from Muse for... a fair long time.
