when i had my other cell i did have internet on it, and i loved it. you have to have it set up with the company. alot of phones come with it, but they have to turn it one. make sure you ask them about the different plans with internet, because if you go over your internet time, it can kill your bill. good luck!!

First call your service provider to make sure that is set up on your plan service. Then, scroll through the menu to something that says news, information, get going, if it doesen't say internet. But some websites still cannot be seen by mobiles. If you need to access e-mail, mostly all the major companies are ok with the mobile but if you need to access other login sites, try to make sure your user names and passwords are all lower case and/or numbers as some phones don't support caps.

I use the internet on my phone all the time, you have to check with your service provider to have it activated though, i use it to check the news and weather, to look up directions if i am lost, and to download ringtones and games to my phone

My mobile phone supports web browsing but I very rarely use it because i think it costs too much. On my network you get charged by the amount you download. I also don't think mobile internet is particularly good, I mean the screen size is small you can't interact with things particularly well. I think the only time i'd really use it wuld be to find out news stories or something like that, but even then I'd probably just tune into the FM radio stations that I get on it if the news was that bug a story.

for me, mobile without internet is useless. i've sony ericsson w810i and opera mini installed on it. i enjoy alot with my slow but good enough gprs facility. for me, mobile is for internet surfing more than attending calls.. :)

I use internet on my phone when i'm out of station. I stay in India and i use AirTel connection. So the settings are very simple and it costs only Rs.12 per 24 hours and there is no download limit.
