family is more important than friends.don't confuse their restriction on you as a bad situation,you do not understand yet the ways of a parent and why brothers or sisters behaves that way. the trick is , just don't mind them and tell yourself that this would pass. friends are just there if in times of cheerfulness but when it times that they have to lay their life for you ,most likely it would be one in a million friends.think about it. i was a blacksheep of the family.

It depends on the person's point of view. A person who grew up with his family will probably say that friends aren't more important than his family. But from someone who grew up alone, it will be the other way around. =)

well for all reasons i am of the view of blindedfox. its true that the circumstances and situations that one grows in decides the liking.
myself for example have lived major part of my life in hostel and have grown strong inclinations towards friends.
it is also true that noone stands by u like the family does. they are there for everything of yours. i have faced situations where ..where family failed friends have stood by me and where friends have failed family stood by me..
family for ever is family and thru thick and thin you and they are part. but with regards friends u got to be selective. in family even when we have disowned them we can still go back to them and they would welcome u with open hands. but friends i donot think all would do except one or two.
family is very much important and but only a few friends matter.

"Blood is thicker than water." Friends are of great importance because they add spice and color into our once boring life. However, we must not neglect the fact that our foundation is our family. In spite of the flaws one may have, family will always be there whether they like it or not.

Sometimes,yes.I can|t stay with my family when an friend of mine needs me or have some problems and I could helped him.I think that my friends are important for me,because I am important for they too.I can give my soul for they and they for me,too,but for real friends not for all.

You can choose your friends, you are born into your family... So yes, my friends are more important to me than my family, more close, more intimate... Although my two years younger sister is my best friend! Of course you can't deny blood ties, and I will always be there for my family, but usually I feel more at ease and close with my friends.

Although friends are also part of my life, still i consider my family more important than them because of a lot of reasons. My family was there from the time i was born and they really loved and support me through all this years. I know that even in times of difficulties, my family will always be there for me. No one can ever replace them. I do share my problems with my friends but they also have their lives and not all the time they can be with me specially in times of difficulties.

i think family is more important than friends..u can made friends whenever u want.but if u loose ur family then u can never get it back...u can share whatever u want with ur family..its the family which will b there with u all the time so i think family is more important

for me family is more important than friends because they gave to me whatever i need in everyday life...they give me shelter, clothes, foods and even knowledge...they also sent me to school and they are the one who taught me to have a strong fear of God...actually, they are the one that i really treasure and i really trust...because even friends can betray you and you can't trust them they can also be a backfighter...we also need to be extra careful in choosing of friends nowadays :)

I think that they are both of equal importance. Because when one is not there for you, or is unable to be there for you, the other one is there to fall back on, and offer support to you. :)

For me, family always comes number 1 on my list. I love my family. They have been with me through my ups and downs. They have done great amount of sacrifices for me just so I can be where I am rigth now.
I have lots of friends but non of them can ever replace my family.

It is hard to say.But I would say family is important to me.My parents bring me a lot of happiness.And nothing can instead of parents' love!
