Embroidery and Cross Stitch

Does anyone else enjoy embroidery? I've become more and more obsessed with this hobby in recent years, especially in the detailed cross stitch form. Chatelaine and Heaven and Earth Designs are my favourites, but there are many other designers with beautiful work. Recently I've been learning other decorative stitches, and stitching in white or ecru on colours - my favourite is white on dusky blue, it looks stunning - like old fashioned china. What do you like to stitch?

i also enjoy embroidery and cross stitching but i am the opposite of you because in the more recent years i have not had that much time to dedicate to either of these hobbies right now i am working on this cross stitch pattern of a horse saddle drapped over a fence post but i do not have any favorite pattern designs like Chatelaine and Heaven and Earth Designs i think the white on dusky blue looks amazing i like to stitch animals and old horse tack for i am a very old fashioned type of person

I would love to have the time again to do cross stitch - I find it so relaxing to do and at the end there is the satisfaction! I've always wanted to learn embroidery though - looks like a fun challenge to take on.

I'm very happy to find someone who likes cross stitch like me. I do like very much embroidery and cross stitch is one of the things I like doing. I like very much Mirabilia, Dimensions and Passione Ricamo. I'm stitching a fairy at the present time (you can see from my avatar that I love fairies) and I'm doing also a little work with red on ecru aida. The only problem I have is that I have never enough time to do all the things I would...therefore my projects are still pending and I'm far away from finishing them. Anyway each time I have time I do something new.
