Dog is supposed to be a very obedient and faithful animal. He can understand everything what one is conveying but you are the master of the dog and you may not understand all what they convey. Who is more intelligent you or your dog?If you will call him by name, he will respond immediately but you can not. He can understand well the pindrop silence situation but you cannot. What do you think?

I think my dog is very smart, but not as smart as a human. He acts like he understands what we say most of the time. I do understand a little of his gestures. I have had quite a few dogs who never understood any words like sit or stay.

Human brain is intelligent than computer. The computer will not understand unless and untill you made him understood.Once the computer got rightly understood you,it will work very fast and with more accuracy.Dogs are like that. First they need training.First you get them trained and then you compare.Good luck.

I can see your point there and I think the dogs could be more intelligent than humans because they can be taught the impossible.

Dogs are wonderful and the most apt to wish to please us. They do understand a good bit, however, when we are gone or out of the room they have no concept of right and wrong. Only when we are present. The communication thing to told to me to be our fault since the animals all talked in the original garden and we ate of the wrong tree that is when the divide was created. Such a shame. The animals would have so much to tell us.
