If you like KFC here is the secret recipe like the original KFC that you can now make at home. COATING MIX 1 tablespoon rosemary 1 tablespoon oregano 1 tablespoon powdered sage 1 teaspoon powdered ginger 1 teaspoon marjoram 1 1/2 teaspoon thyme 3 tablespoon packed brown sugar 3 tablespoons dry minced parsley 1 teaspoon ground pepper 1 tablespoon paprika 2 tablespoons garlic salt 2 tablespoons onion salt 2 tablespoons powdered bouillion (4 cubes can be used to substitute powdered bouillion) Place all ingredients in blender until pulverized. Store unused mix in an airtight container to keep it's potency. To coat chicken: Use 3 ounces of the coating mix and blend with one cup of flour in a gallon size sealable bag. Place desired amout of uncooked chicken in the bag and shake until chicken is coated evenly. Deep fry or pan fry as you normally would.

I love KFC. I have had to give it up because of how they prepare the chicken. The fat makes me ill. With your recipe I can now enjoy the flavors that kept me going back for so long. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing that. I've always wanted to make my own KFC type of fried chicken. But there are just too many spices, they are too expensive here in the Philippines. I guess for now, when I crave KFC, I'll just buy some from the store. I also like the crispy coating but out here we only have hot and crispy.
