What is mylot about to you or are you just here for some money?

Do you visit mylot for the discussions ... or for the cash ... or for both ... etc And why does everyone feel the need to share about how much cash they have in their mylot account?? In real life i've never ever had anyone come up to me and say "hey guess what - i've got $5 in my bank account" so why do people do it here?? *end vent for the day*

Well I love to talk..I love to chat..I love meeting new people..And of course I love making money..Who dont..So this was a place to do a little of all of it together..LoL..And as far as how much I have or have made Im like you ...But then again I dont mind telling someone how much Ive made becuase at times the newbies should hear how much someone has made for confidence they can do the same..I mean you have to admit its not a get rich kinda thing..Therefore it can get miserable when you are doing good and feel you are not making nothing..So its a boost when you hear of some that have made a good amount..

I would have to say both since I have been getting more referrals I see that there is earning potential here. Not only in the money that mylot offers but also for the tips you pick up from other users. Infact I have learned alot here and to me that is worth more to me than a couple of pennies. Keep in mind also that this is not your bank account. The bigger the community is the more we can make simply because there are more people to respond to our discussions. So I think there is no harm in telling people what you earn.

I gotta admit that at first I was interested in mylot because of the money.. well who wouldnt want to get money hahahaha :P But I soon got hooked in discussing things and got many people opinion on a topic :) I realize that somehow mylot has became a lot more than just a "money bank" for me ahhahaha after all the payment is not that much anyways I could get heaps more by working in normal office :) As Im a girl, I like to talk hahaha and Im a very opinionated person, therefore, mylot discussion gave me opportunity to channel my "speaking" tendency :P How bout you?

Must admit, I signed up here for the cash but I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I do. Now although it's fun to have a little friendly compitition half the time I dont pay attention to how many posts I've done a day or worry about how much money I've made. Must admit, first few days I did read a lot of post on "pay" mainly because I didn't want to put a lot of time into this only to find out their like other places and don't pay what they say they will. Face it, people do a lot of things online they wouldn't do in real life...

Sounds like me - I signed up just because I friend said I should ... and then it just grew on me! I must admit I was a tad frustrated by day 2 as I wasn't getting the $ that I thought I would but then i got over it and decided that i should just make some friends instead of worrying about money.

I think that most of us do it for both. But when you think of it rationally you realize that mylot is economically irrelevant for a person (with some exceptions maybe) because the amount of time you need to invest here to get 100 dollars is incredible. I guess money is just the lil push we need to make the step and launch ourselves to write.

lol. i see where you are coming from. and i don't understand why people do that to. i guess to make mylot a little challenging and see who made the most money that month. do you think that's true? When i started here on mylot i was looking for a way to make money. but now that i have been her for awhile, i have noticed that it's not all about the money, that it's about making friends and giving advice.
