Which Gender is the Real Superior? Men or Women?

Men: the aggressors, the hunters, the logical, the physically strong Women: the nurturers, the gatherers, the emotionals, the mentally strong does the above generalization make one gender better than the other? does the physical superiority of the male body outweigh the characteristic of the feminine nurturer? a male friend of mine does not agree that women are mentally stronger than men. he said that women easily freak out and get all wigged in times of duress, panic or great stress. i replied to him that it's just a way of women to release stress and that if you will check out all surveys of suicide cases on every part of the world, the most number of cases are that of men. what's your point of view in gender comparisons?

I think its more of an individual thing than a gender thing. Whereas some men are strong, some are weak and they same goes for women. Men have a harder time expressing there emotions , just as women have a harder time controlling them. But it makes neither one of us the superior.

I still believe that men should be superior than women. For instance in the family, still the father should always be the leader and the law maker.

Why should the differences between men and women establish that one is superior to the other? We know that both sexes have physical and mental difference, but this shouldn't be a basis for discrimination. Identifying and acknowledging these differences should in fact be the first step to try and understand each other better, and live in harmony. The same goes for the variety of human cultures on this planet ;)

In my opinion, there is never a question of superiority between the sexes. I respect difference rather. The difference between the XX and XY chromosomes that define male and female specifics. Nothing more and nothing less. There is no empirical evidence that there is a question of superiority between these chromosomes. So, it is better to see and appreciate differences, without being the least bit judgemental.

Both of men and women can be a superior, it depend on their education, behaviour, atittude, emotion and their action to get it.Men or woman have their own advantage and strenght and we must respect each other about it.

Hey ! First of all .. i have to tell you that most of men have only streinght .. or not even that .. But women .. we are pretty .. sensitive .. intelligent .. strong .. not necesarilly fizically , but intellectually , we`re stronger than men .We give birth to children .. process in which men play a vrey small part .. We take care of everything .. housholding .. carrer .. kids .. love life .. But most of men have only their carrer ... playing with the kids and satisfying their wifes in bed .. that`s when they hadn`t been before with another woman (oups .. my bad .. but it`s true .. there`s no living man who hadn`t been cheeting on his wife at least once ) So in conclusion .. Men are the head of the family .. but the neck which guides it and takes directions in life is always represented by women .

I think we complement one another... What I can't figure out is who ever decided work done in the barn was more noble than work done in the kitchen?! [So one got to vote and one didn't? tho lotsa women 'wore the pants'.] I think we are halves of a whole :))

I don't think a gender can be superior and the other inferior. There are men mentally strong and women mentally weak, but I have to admit that women, during the centuries, have been forced to develop their mental powers. I think that once between men and women there were a few differences on a psychological level, but that, when men got the power, confined women in an area without rights, and so they had to work hard to survive, so it seems that women are mentally stronger, in truth they are not stronger by nature, but because of historical reasons, in all these centuries they have been forced to live a very hard life, and so they have developed mental powers very strong.
