I really like someone but I don't know why I can't be how sweet he wants me to be. How do I deal with this? He feels he has to fish for compliments, I wanna give them when I feel like it. We spend so much time together already but it doesn't seem enough... help me out.

Am not sure why we feel the need to be something or someway other than what we are to be with someone. If you don't fit then you just don't fit. You set yourself up for all sorts of problems if you go on trying to be something he thinks he wants. He needs to want you for who and what you are. You might double think about this relationship.

I would just act whatever way feels right for you. It is up to him to adjust. You should not have to change yourself for him. He should accept you the way you are.
